Spain: More Mysterious Sounds - Badajoz, January 18, 2012, page 1

Well this is some more creepy sounds. This one completely goes away and then comes back.

Maybe this is all a ploy to make us go mentally crazy. I know if I had to sit and listen to this for any length of time I would go nuts.

I am not too sure what this sound could be, not that I know what the others ones are.

Any thoughts?

Okay now THIS video I can relate better to my personal experience of the sound. This one is more like the one I heard last February as I exited a grocery and continued to hear it when I got home a few minutes later and it continued for probably at least an hour even after that. I had to give up listening to it and go unload the groceries and get dinner started. I mentioned in the hoax thread on this forum that last year I heard many instances of omnidirectional sustained rumbling, somewhat pulsing like breathing, but otherwise sounding like some sort of jet. I then went on to clarify that these sounds weren't so outlandish as to make me think they won't be explained eventually as some sort of test aircraft or a seismic or atmospheric phenomena.

But I mentioned the February incident as being a bit more eerie and that one caused my imagination to veer toward the musing on little green spacemen. That sound seems to be very much like what is presented here. It's hard to say for certain how alike though based off a video. Other people were around and despite the incredible volume and pervasiveness and strangeness of the sound they did not pay it any obvious notice whatsoever! I had my daughter with me and she did hear it so I know I wasn't hearing something inaudible to others. But for whatever reason they heard this sound reverberating over pretty much the entire town, I would guess, and nobody batted an eye. This was in Montgomery County of MD last February. I won't get more specific than that. I suppose people just assumed a thunder storm was moving in. But I checked my weather app and the radar was clear and no storms materialized. There were some clouds and some wind. No unusual jet activity. If I had to guess about a rational explanation I'd guess I'd pick some weird effect of wind. But we've gotten similar conditions since then and the sound has yet to recur.

How that incident differed from others and why it made more of an eerie impression on me that particular time is because that time bits of the sounds seem to be bouncing around all over the sky like something in the different clouds were talking to each other, while a steadier drone continued as a background. It was creepy but cool.

I forgot to mention there are some sounds in the video that I can't recognize. I assume they may be noise from the camera or a breeze on the mic.
