What you dont get and actually refuse to even try to understand is if a person born in this country is a citizen of both China and the USA they ARE NOT ELIGABLE TO BE THE LEADER OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Obama at birth was a citizen of Kenya AND the United States. HE IS NOT NOR WILL HE EVER BE ELIGIABLE

I would love to move the fight to where it truly belongs. Sadly most people these days do not realize where that energy should be spent. Could you imagine the Chaos if just 20% of Americans refused to file taxes? The IRS would overflow and a flat tax system would have to be implemented.

Imagine a world in which G.E. Whirlpool, and all those other zero tax paying corporations would have to start paying when they buy goods.

People want to fight lets start with no more write-offs and a sales tax based on goods purchased. That tax would be collected at the register and relieve all Americans of the burden of a 5000 page tax code.

Put the fight where it belongs, not on something you can't change. Obama has been in office three years, that ain't gonna change no matter what is proved. All I see are a bunch of irrational haters going after the wrong thing. Wake up and realize the birthers are being played. Call it simply distracted if you need to but either way you are getting upset about something you cannot do anything about. All you can do is block the next election. It is more about hating Obama than fixing the Country for the Birthers.

My girlfriends family (I can't stand them) are birthers, they are also racists, although they do not realize they are........

Actually, this constitutional requirement you speak of only applies if the candidate was NOT born on American soil. So, if someone was born in France, to be a U.S. presidential candidate, he/she must have 2 parents who are citizens of the United States at the time of the child's birth. Even then, it's ok if 1 parent only was a U.S. citizen, if that parent resided in U.S. for at least 10 years, at least 5 years of which must be after the age of 16. Look it up.

This is all moot, because Obama was born in Hawaii. He provided a state-issued birth certificate on his website in 2008. For those who say it's not a real birth certificate - prove it beyond the shadow of the doubt.

Yes i saw that but its only what he said before the trial. The trial happened and evidence was recorded for the first time. It can now be referenced by multiple cases and multiple places.

But there is no ruling yet.

And that MyFOX hunk of crap link was written in advance. Its worthless after this morning.

Lol, your intent is pretty obvious right there. Just cause Obama is black (kinda), all this "law" stuff and upholding the Constitution is just a clever ruse to cover up the real reason that whites just dont like blacks in office, eh?

He won't carry Georgia - he didn't carry Georgia.
Atlanta is the only area that would vote for him with any strength.

Georgia is blood red and has been for a few years now.

This whole issue really does need to get national attention, not for the sake of ousting Obama because he's considered a poor president, but because the Constitution needs an amendment that clearly defines the term "natural-born citizen." It is interpreted any which way fits a particular agenda at the moment, and though there are precedents set, the lack of a clear definition keeps the door open for all sorts of politically motivated suits and hearings.

I think it would take maybe 6 months of debate in Congress to establish a clear, fair definition of the term, then another couple weeks or months for ratification. With the way things are now though, it seems there are some in this country who don't want a clear definition, so that they may either sidestep the laws or create artificial attacks against their political opponents.

I meant from a practical standpoint for Obama - he didn't really have anything to lose by losing Georgia b/c it wasn't his. Which is not to say that his supporters won't be pretty hot, I've not doubt. But he wouldn't have carried Georgia anyway, so what does he care to show up? That's all I meant.

If this had been a state like California or New York - then it would have mattered to him enough to show up and expose himself.

1. obama could still technically win if other states vote (fraud) for him.

2. if he is not eligible for the ballot, how is he president?

if your boss finds out you lied on your resume, he doesnt recommend you not get a promotion, he fires you!

Remember what nasty pelosi a democrat said about impeachment of bush, it would tear apart the country. So looks like our dictator in chief will have to illegally hold office for "the good of the country" this is why Im an anarchist.

I dont trust that myfox link at all.

I saw where they edited at 1:27 EST and i had a tab open and they went right back in when I checked the link update and changed the tense of several words AFTER I was just referred back.

People are making it up and then adjusting the facts already.

I am curious, from an editorial standpoint/ATS posting guidelines, what happens to this thread? The title and info in the opening post are factually incorrect (seems the poster did not know this, but still.) There has been no ruling. Obama is still on the ballot. Multiple sources now confirm this.

Watched the case this morning live.

I believe you are very incorrect. That was the primary thing the judge was interested in, and they provided all of the correct law relating to it.

"It states that "Georgia Administrative Hearings Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi gave no indication when he will rule or whether he will sanction President Obama and his attorneys, all of whom refused to attend the hearing."
