An nationwide influenza epidemic is spreading, doubling the number of cases per hospital, according to data compiled through Tuesday by the National Institute of Infectious Diseases.

Over 90 percent of the cases this flu season are due to the Hong Kong influenza A virus subtype H3N2. The data marked the first epidemic in five years of the seasonal flu virus, which can cause encephalitis in infants and gravely affect the elderly, the institute said.

Data collected on a regular basis from around 5,000 medical institutions across the country show that the average number of cases stood at 7.33 in the week through Jan. 15, up from 3.76 a week earlier. The number of cases, which increased in all 47 prefectures, has since continued to grow, the institute added, referring to data from around 6,700 drugstores. People 70 and older accounted for roughly 6 percent of the cases, up from around 2 percent in earlier years, the institute said based on data gathered from the medical institutions since early September.

Radiation is all around us – power lines, the sun, television sets, radon gas. It’s a long list and it’s impossible to avoid altogether. Airplane travel is a big one.

Radiation is cumulative. All forms interfere with cellular activity and suppress immune system function.

Radiation creates dangerous free radicals that damage cells and cytokine pathways (communication pathways) in the immune system.

Now we can see the first effects of the radiation which is obviously attributed to the flu outbreak and it's weakening of the immune system and the flu doubling and nearly tripling in just a week. This is just the tip of the iceberg, cancer rates in Japan and all around the world will go up.

I wondered how soon we may start to see this.
I think many of the new health issues people are complaining of will be linked back to the extra dosing we are experiencing. The was no way told to anyone in regards to what happened in Fukushima.
I honestly don't think even the experts know the whole picture.

I am sad to say this may be one big science experiment when all is looked at as a whole. Not an experiment on purpose, but the data that they can collect off of it now that all is said and done. Hell we here in the US exploded above ground nukes to see how the radiation fallout would travel and in what doses - across the country. An experiment that was undertaken with all best interests in mind....mind you. At the time we honestly didn't know that just wearing dark sunglasses, a hat and some clothes couldn't protect you...until we did the tests and discovered the side effects later on. Then had that "Oh Crap" moment.
