No!
Arguably it seems, that the nation Iran has profited from the war. The Shi'a majority which was suppressed under Saddam are now the rulers over most
of Iraq. They share the religion with their Iranian neighbours and Iran has send in it's undercover agents and aid to strengthen Iranian-friendly
forces.
Perhaps (although unlikely) Chalabi, with his phony intelligence against Iraq, acted as an Iranian mole.
But, Iran was in no position to incite jingoism in the US and to control the MSM. Even if Chalabi acted as a mole - the bulk of fraudulent
intelligence came from other sources. The interpretation of the fraudulent intelligence was not done by Iran. Iranian lobbyists and politicians didn't
lead the US into the war.
Even before 9/11 Bush wanted to invade Iraq. The Neocons lobbied for war against Iraq. And when after years they were finally in positions of power
during the Bush-administration they abused them to serve their own agenda. Already in 1996 leading Neocons like Perle, Wurmser and Feith had drafted a
plan for the Netanyahu-government. This plan called for the ousting of Saddam Hussein and destabilisation of Iraq. The Neocons are followers of a
bizarre ideology which combines Zionism, fascism and jingoism. Many profited personally from their ties to the military-industrial-complex. Others
like Kristol, Safire and Krauthammer wrote their lies and warmongering fantasy for the MSM.
Although many of those rightwing-warmongers have personally gained from the Iraq war, it was a disaster for the US as a nation. But this is normal.
War-profiteers reap in the fruits while the foreign country and their fellow citizens are plundered.
