Totally not aimed at Iran...

US deploys 15,000 troops to Kuwait as tensions with Iran increase

The US Department of Defence have deployed 15,000 troops to the Middle Eastern state of Kuwait as tensions with Iran escalate over US and EU sanctions in response to Iran’s defiance to halt its nuclear programme, which claimed to have produced its first nuclear fuel rod earlier this month. On Monday the EU passed a ban on Iranian oil exports following similar action by the US on Iran’s oil and Central Bank.

Yeah this is gonna end so well...

So...
Lemme get this straight, we are going to war with Iran over Weapons grade uranium that the IAEA says there is no indication or proof of?
Yet Iran wants talks?
I'm having flashbacks now of weapons of mass distraction and evil men living in caves...
My prayers go to the men who fight for freedom.

I give in saying stand up america - because even if you did, you would get sat back down by your own government and detained without charge on the belief of you been a terrorist.

Honestly, you may as well go back to sleep - I think we're better off just forgetting about changing the actions of the 1%, because it really looks like they will always get their own way.

Nobody wants war, but yet we still go. Our troops dont want war, but yet they still go. We have no voice what so ever, and it becomes more clear with every passing day.

What happens after Iran? Where then? Syria? Somalia? When will this stop? Do the 1% want to conquer the planet using America as a military front? The way things are going, the 1% will detain all american citizens who dont agree with their actions, send them to FEMA camps and just use the whole of America will solely be a military–industrial complex spewing their "Democracy" across the planet until they have everything they want.

All we can do to slow down this process is tell everybody you know, the more of us there is - the harder it gets. It will come to a point where they cant say no to 1billion people fighting the same evil - Them.

The majority of those troops actually redeployed from Iraq. After a bit of time, there will be rotations of units, much like what happened after the first Gulf War, Bosnia and Kosovo.

If a additional 15,000 troops were to be deployed, it is still not enough to invade Iran. But the ratio of support troops to combat troops in te US Military is roughly 4 to 1, so they have the infrastrutre in place anyways.

Gotta feel for those guys redeployed, thinking they might go home.
Now they could end up in a worst s... storm then before, why don't the congress rotate in for a tour.
Give these guys a rest.

I totally agree. Start the rotations now, if anything else, so you have rested troops in theater if the SHTF.

Back in the nineties, rotations averaged between 6-9 months and we fell in on pre-positioned equipment so logistics wasn’t a biggie. Any longer than that and apathy sets in as there is only so much training you can do in Kuwait.

I have a seaky feeling that there wont be time for apathy to set in.
The neo cons will have to hurry to get their war started. If talks resume and the Iranis accept inspections , it will take another ten years to frame them into starting some #e we can use to attack.
However if they succumb to US economic pressures and become a vassal state then we can dling the military at somebody else(syria, sudan, yemen, etc)
Africa, is the prize after all.......

15,000 troops going to Kuwait isn't an invasion force. It's just troop movements. Some troops come .. some troops go. Sometimes there are more than others. Sometimes less. We've seen movements before and we'll see them again. Now if you were talking 100,000 boots on the ground on the Iranian border or something .... we'd have a whole different story to talk about ...
