UFO in Riga, Latvia?

This photo is from the summer of 2009. Location: downtown Riga, Latvia.
Looking through my photos of that trip on a whim tonight, I happened to notice a strange floating object in this particular image.

That's a cool UFO!!! I havn't noticed one like this before

looks like a lamp to me, there is a couple more in the background as well. cool pic tho

How could you miss that the strange floating object's are hanging all the way down the street.

It is held in place by wire going from one building to the next so in tern looks like a free floating object.

There you have a lamp suspended between streets. Admittedly it is a very Adamski saucer looking lamp but a lamp all the same.

Your camera is focussing the foreground so the cables are out of fucus rendering them invisible to the lens, them being so thin.
