ATS has become a vertible hub of these thanks to the eagle eyed members spotting stories across the web and news sources. Coupled with many first hand accounts.

Is it possible to create an publically accessible map to "tag" all of these locations? along with a description perhaps of the report/clip/video?

I understand its possible to have custom tagged versions of google maps. But to honest, haven't really got experience in that side of things.

The benefits of such an open to all to edit or a perhaps moderated map, would be to identify any patterns and trends that are occurring. Using a cross reference links USGS and weather info in the locations at the time we may be to identify if they are geological under the earth, meteorlogical - associated with the weather.
