This is getting interseting. Lots of peeps are hearing them in different parts of the world. At first I thought it was a viral add but its too big and complex for that.

I am sure some of the records are made up but many are not too. What is happening in our skies. Somehow I feel it is a warning to something. But what I dont know.

I read somewhere that they might be skyquakes. A prelude to an earthquake. It this is the case we are in for the mother of all earthquakes.

You guys are really lucky!!!
I live in Abu Dhabi and we don't get these strange sounds, even out in the desert when I was there.
I need to move back to New Orleans and listen with TallTexxan.

All we get here is the sound of F-16's and Mirages practicing over the Persian Gulf at around 0200h and a few C-130 and 5A's lately during the day.
Oh well!

Take care and I'll give any updates on the fighter "noises" if they increase and are of any lengthy duration.

This is the same that we heard, three times now in the last year.

I had a thought the other day when watching a TV show about global warming, the effects of light absorption (Albedo) as the ice on the planet reflects the heat back into space.

(same thing the aliens were supposed to be trying to do for their planet when they enslaved humans to mine gold so they could add gold dust to their upper atmosphere to reflect the heat back into space)

They showed that a lot of the ice cover is already gone and heat is being absorbed more and more by the advance of sea water in place of ice.

The fact that it will spawn more and more tornadoes as heat = energy and the hurricanes will grow and grow.

What if what we are hearing along with chem trails are an effort to reflect light back into space to compensate. if they let anyone know there would be the years of environmental studies, arguments etc and it would be to late. It may be they are trying to SAVE the planet!

It does sound like that, but there is an added noise in with the airplane sounds. I think we have all heard airplanes and also groups of military planes, this is kind of like that but their is an added noise in there very machine like..also it would be hundreds of thousands of airplanes to take that long to fly over, unless like you said dozen or more circling and circling!

As I said...I have seen many of the videos, seen people compare the sounds and the waves. No two sounds are even a certain % close to being identical. But I await for someone to *prove* me wrong. I don't believe for a single second that all of the sounds, all the incidents, and all the videos are all of the same exact sound recorded into all the videos. That would mean that everyone who did this is better at audio editing software than most professionals are. Not to mention the amount of time and effort it takes. I have a feeling people have a lot more better things to do in life than sit at their house and make hundreds of false videos all with the same sound. Sorry but I don't see that bandwagon catching on to everyone around the globe. It doesn't make any sense.

If there is something unusual happening the sounds should be the same not a bunch of alternate phenomenon.

I started THIS THREAD ABOUT RUMBLING SOUNDS IN THE SKY IN WASHINGTON STATE over a year ago. In it, I have video that I took in an attempt to record the sound. You have to use earphones to hear it and even then it is very faint. The sound is hard to capture because it is resonating at such a low frequency. You can feel it as much as hear it.

Your video is very, very similar to what I and other ATS members have documented over the past year. They are not the trumpet sounds that are circulating right now. I haven't decided yet if those are perhaps the same thing up closer, or an attempt to discredit the real sounds we are hearing.

To me, it seems to be coming from the ground and bouncing off the atmosphere, which would explain why it seems to be amplified when overcast.

my neighbor (we are just east of ATL) texted me last night saying he heard very weird noises in the sky last night. had to be the same thing.

this is much closer to what i heard on that sunday afternoon last fall than any of the recent videos causing all the controversy.

I herd a strange noise today i at first thought was a train. But i never herd a train horn so i went outside and herd this strange noise. I grabbed my sony camera and took 2 video clips of the noise. I don't know what it was but it was not a train. The sound went on for about 20 minutes.

I live out in the Alpharetta area in Georgia and I also heard that noise yesterday evening. It was coming from the general direction of Lockheed/Dobbins Air Force Base so I attributed it to the frequent loud noises that we hear emanate from that area.

But who knows? Maybe it is a "sign" from elsewhere of things to come. Well Done to you for taking the initiative to go outside and record it for us all!

I have replied to other posts on this topic and described how I live in Calgary, Alberta, and I have heard a low humming noise at night time that sounds much like the one in your recording. (what I hear isn't as loud and defined as some of those recordings I've seen online from Conklin Alberta, or Costa Rica). It kept me awake a couple of nights ago again. I've never tried recording it because it is so low frequency that I didn't think my iPhone would pick it up. Also, it usually happens at night, and I am too lazy to get up and go outside in the cold.

Now that I've seen your recording, I won't be so lazy and will give it a try.

I have been a lurker on ATS for about 2 years now. I have never posted in the forums, and I'm not sure if I should be starting a new thread, but since I'm nowhere near 20 posts, I hope it's okay that I'm including a video of my own. This afternoon, I was outside in my yard, when I heard this sound in the sky. The sound quality isn't the greatest, but if you turn your volume up, you should be able to hear it.

You are one of a few that heard it so far. I say a few because this phenomena hasn't really picked up yet. It is there, it has been there for a while but the majority still doesn't notice it. 7 billion people and a few hundred reports, a thousand maybe? I heard it. I know other people irl that heard it as well and they are not on ATS or conspiracy sites. This is real.

Unfortunately, it will have to get much louder and constant for the majority to go "Hey...what was that?"

Wanna see a worldwide panic? Imagine that sound one hundred times louder and becoming constant.

Between now and then...we're just imagining things.

I've been lurking on ATS for quite awhile now, but decided to create an account and speak up on this topic. Let me first say how much I have enjoyed all of your articles, and the videos that have been put up during my time here. I also enjoy daily reading of your thoughts/opinions on all of the interesting topics on ATS. Very smart people here who think outside the box, and contribute in a big way to the eye opening of others. Much Respect.

I live in Atlanta, Brookhaven area, so it's to noisy here to hear anything. However, I have heard these exact sounds about 75miles south of Atl, in Meriwether County. This area sits in the woods, literally in the middle of nowhere. I spent quite a bit of time there during November-December 2011 and these sounds were quite common...at night...late. I'm sure some of the videos are fake, of course. I do laugh at people who discredit them all though. I was in a near perfect location, and new to pay very very close attention...and these sounds were REAL.

So glad to see so many people from Georgia. Would have never guessed.

this is the EXACT sound I experienced around aug/sept here in Jönköping, Sweden.
Posted it in some thread, but no recording.
But EXACTLY this sound. for about an hour.

The new "war of the world"-ish sound sounds unreal in comparision.
Not saying it is,

This sound is a very strange anomaly, I have read a couple of threads with similar descriptions but your video clarifies the strange humming fluctuations very clearly. The weird thing is, I was oblivious to this phenomenon until it was mentioned a couple of times here on ATS when I suddenly realized I have been experiencing a similar humming sound at certain times but mostly late at night when the neighbourhood is relatively quiet. I first blew it off as a plane or cars racing somewhere close by but it carried on for hours sometimes. I pretty much thought of every logical explanation I could come up with but nothing comes to mind to fully explain this sound.

Just to clarify I am from Cape Town South Africa so this is on a large scale making it even more creepy.
