A previous response to solve this problem worked for me as well. Pried each letter off and vacuumed each one. Also turned over laptop and tapped it over the sink cleaning out some debris from the keyboard. No problems thereafter.

i replaced the keyboard with a new one from Amazon, works ok still..............
