I cannot believe it when people say that life begins at conception, blatantly ignoring the sacredness of sex cells that have never even met. Life begins at arousal. It is therefore every man's duty to start punching himself in the scrotum at the first sign of being turned on, except in the context of marriage, in the missionary position, with the lights out, presided over by a priest wearing nightvision goggles, and a stenographer (preferably a nun) to properly assure that no uncouth phrases were uttered. Did I miss anything?

In all seriousness though, abortion in something I am personally against but I am even more appalled at the idea of a male-run government making decisions about women's issues while contraception is still taboo. Remember when someone asked John McCain why he's for insurance covering Viagra but not birth control? I should mention I'm a guy, not that it should matter.

Life begins even before fertilization, both sperm and ova are alive. There is nothing dead in us, our bodies have life in them from the smallest cell to that one tiny tadpole making his/her way to fertilize a woman's egg. Human life begins at conception. Pro choice people like to make excuses so they feel better about committing murder, to ease their burden of conscience.

In ancient times greeks (particulalry spartans) and other people's practiced "discarding" in which the women would tell themselves babies were not human until they reached about 15 days old (this is about to come into practice again, the Oxford Journal of Medicine is already talking about post birth abortion) and this enabled them to leave newborn infants who were born sickly or deformed out on the mountain slopes and forests for the wolves and other predators to kill. So yes this ancient and barbaric practice is also returning from old, except in the form of legalized murder of newborn infants. World gets worse and worse.
