The initial concept of the internet was a place for free expression. For free exchange of ideas between peers. For freedom from restrictions of the
government. ..At least that's what Al Gore told me when he invented it....
But I guess Kris Kristofferson paraphrased by Janice Joplin were right after all.
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
Nothin' don't mean nothin' hon if it ain't free.
Keep ANY FORM of government or restriction out of the internet. True actual pirating for profit of video or recorded media is a little different, but
free speech, free expression, free ideas...aren't worth the bandwidth they take up if they aren't free.
