Just because you didn't listen doesn't mean your translation has anything to do with reality.

You're going to Pretend it's the Truth because you wrote it, Or Made it Up, Much like to did in this thread here:
Obamanomics: Price Of Gas +83%, Ground Beef +24%, Bacon +22%... ,
You wrote and I will use the Quote Option:

Couldn't be that the price of gas went up 250% in the 8 years Bush was in office?

Much like your POTUS,,, you Blame Others and Make Up Lies.

is that right?

how is that?

It would be a lot harder for small businesses to hire. Because of the policies and the programs that the president is pushing. Because of the expenses, they won't be able to hire new employees, and it's cheaper.

Let's take Apple for instance.

Apple owns a whole city out in China, They get paid $17.00 an hour, everyone in this city is employed there, they works together as a team, they have 2 hospitals, they are housed as employees and they get fed.

I'm living in the wrong city. My pay isn't even that much.

Steve job did that in 5 weeks.

If they moved here it would take about 20 years for US to compete with Steve Jobs.

We have to many regulations to help businesses grow. Which forces the business to go overseas.

Obama is Pro-Union.

It was in his speech.

He's not apologizing for anything that happened during his term as POTUS. That's what he said.

The President is pushing tax incentives to business's that hire domestically.

It is not Obama's fault that China pays their labor pool 9 a day.

He will not sign the pipeline bill from Canada to Mexico. Unless he gets re-elected. Canada is now, debating on whether to move it to China. So, that's over 250,000 American people who can have jobs, down the tubes. He has a hidden agenda. Elect me or no new jobs.

Try not to derail this thread.
Go here: money.cnn.com...

Gasoline prices declined for the 70th consecutive day and are now 55% below the record high in mid-July.

You really need to supply Links to your Claims.

I'd like to apologize to the author of this thread, I did not wish to derail your thread.

Foxconn City

This is the link to the city he is describing even though she got basic facts like the rate of pay wrong it isn't $17 dollars an hour it is less than $17 dollars a day. She also forgot to mention the suicide nets hanging off the dormitories to keep the workers from killing themselves.

Even not getting the fundamental facts right is what is wrong with these people. So they are happy and free to think that these people are getting paid $17 dollars an hour and they don't so it must be too much regulation. Newsflash morons, we had cities such as this once upon a time. they were even so generous to pay half your wages in company script for jacked up prices in the company store. The only difference between now and then is Americans aren't related to and never have to see the atrocities committed against people so a company can save a few dollars. May Steve Jobs roast in hell.

Gee, you didn't bother to mention that the economy was in the worst free fall in modern history.

Why are you using the worst bottoming out and failure of America to base your point on?

The prices I cite were existent in an economy that did suffer the worst ding in 70 years...

Meanwhile he has opened up millions of Acres for drilling and Domestic production is at its
peak is nearly a decade. We get more oil from Canada as it is, I don't think you really know what you
are talking about.

You also understand that all the people in the route of those pipelines have to forfeit their
rights to their property?

So, your main complaints are that the women were wearing bright colored dresses, Obama kissed the women and they applauded him for a really long time, announced him one more time and they applauded him again...

Hmm... Okay. Why is that embarrassing to you?

As for the women's dress color. Get over it.

As for him kissing the women. Presidents do that. Shake hands with the men, hug and offer a kiss to the women....

As for the long applause... That happens with every president.

I don't like Obama either, but come on.... Are those really the things that embarrass you about our country?

That said, I agree that there is no such thing as a level playing field. Every government looks to stack the deck in their favor. If the US "wins"it's because the deck was stacked in their favor.

And yes, he made a joke about spilt milk....

There is a reason I rarely watch the state of the union. It's always the same from every president. Always. tons of applause and things are going to get better...

And at the end of the day, regardless of who gives the speech, things don't change all that much.

Your right, some of my gripes are trivial but the show that was put on was on par with a welcome home to a super hero.
I guess Im just tired of the BS and had to vent.

um...did we watch the same thing? There was the usual customary clapping, but it didn't seem at all excessive. Regardless of whether you like him or not, the man is the POTUS, and the Congress of the United States is not going to be mocked and tarnished abroad by showing open disrespect towards the holder of its highest office.

I think you're reading a hell of alot too much into things, to be honest. I think the certainty of your belief that he will be defeated in the coming election is also a bit premature. He's not the best we've ever had, but are the opposition really inspiring that much passion? Gingrich who claimed he worked as a 'historian' for a mortgage lender which appears to be either grossly incompetent or grossly corrupt, and Romney who is 100% out of touch with the average man in the street? At least Romney doesn't openly advocate against an independent judiciary.

The truth is that the Republicans, although they could have easily won this election in their neo-con phase, have veered, way, way too far to the right to appeal to the 'average' American who is an undecided voter with no strong party loyalty. Gingrich talking about how lazy blacks are and Santorum and Perry talking about what a perverse society the US has become because the gov't shies away from endorsing religion (for people that talk so incessantly about the constitution, they clearly do not understand the jurisprudence behind the judicial interpretation of the establishment and free exercise clauses) - average folks who just want to go to work and live their lives are not going to vote for the guy who is going to legislate every aspect of their personal existence, despite standing on a platform of 'freedom' and 'liberty'. Truth is , people are getting sick of the usual nonsense that career politicians feed us.

Misleading thread title, to say the least, as the SotU address is still going on. I'll post more directly to your comments when it's over (and after I've had a chance, too, to see the Republican response that follows).

I will say this: It's telling that some of your comments reflect obviously what you say up front, that you're not someone prone to watching SotU addresses.

Granted, that that it wasnt over yet when I hit the post button but I was ashamed at the way people were acting from the very begining. There was even a woman that acted like she was going to faint by his mear hand shake.
So the opening 10 minutes was what compelled me to say that. The rest just followed suit.

No I agree, the minute it started, with really all these things I get the same feeling. Washington warned of this, we should eliminate the party system. I don't really like anyone who gets on the stage now. And this is because of the party limitations. Our political system has become so divided we can't get anything done. This will be our down fall, just as old georgey boy said

Over the past few months of observance, it has become clear the the two sides (although more blame lies with the Republicans) will spin any story they can to slight the other. The facts have become completely irrelevant to the debate. It's honestly quite shocking how often the GOP candidates come out with complete half-baked truths in public and yet noone ever questions what they are saying. For instance - my biggest peeve of all? This wanton overuse of the term 'socialism'. Have these people never read a history book, read a newspaper, or looked up the meaning in the dictionary? . This is NOT a socialist society. End of story. There is literally no debate to be had on that issue. We have incredibly meagre welfare provisions, but this is far from full-fledged socialism. By an incredibly wide margin.

You're talking about:

Obama Shifts to Speed Oil and Gas Drilling in U.S.

And Why This Head Line????? Because That Idiot President Finally Discovered:

President Obama, facing voter anger over high gasoline prices and complaints from Republicans and business leaders that his policies are restricting the development of domestic energy resources, announced Saturday that he was taking several steps to speed oil and gas drilling on public lands and waters.

Please remember this is from May 2011:

The Republican-led House passed three bills in the last 10 days that would significantly expand and accelerate oil development in the United States, saying the administration was driving up gas prices and preventing job creation with antidrilling policies.

The move is a change from current policy, which puts the entire Atlantic seaboard off-limits to drilling until at least 2018.

Source: www.nytimes.com...

This Head Line is from May 2011,,,,,, So,,, What Happened? Why did this Loser Not Approve The Canadian Pipe Line if he cared so damn much about us?
Obama Only Tells You What you Want To Hear,,, Then He Runs Off Like A Thief In The Night!

And By The Way, mastahunta, I have Links To Back My View Points,,,, I'm Still Wanting For Yours.

I think that is really what gets me going too, I am so tired of all the prefabricated
stories that keep getting promoted blindly. I really hear very little fact anymore,
as long as the words are in English and there are POSSIBLE the GOP and their
friends will repeat it here, there and everywhere. Socialism, secret muslims, banks
were forced to defraud the world, etc, etc... It is all psycho IMO
