i have not seen this photo before on ATS, wondering what you photo experts think. like all other et photos it is hard to make out and annoyingly demanding of your imagination.

I would say it is several fingers that found their way in front of the camera.

I have many phothos like this....but unfortunately they never made the shape of any sort of entity.

I could be wrong though....it happens.

When I get my film developed I am always shocked at how many photos I have that turn out like that. My 6 year old loves snapping photos when I don't know it and her fist/fingers/knuckles always seem to be the focal point. It isn't an obvious finger or thumb, it's generally kind of wierd like the link you sent. I just assumed that she was moving her hand when she snapped the photo. Maybe I'm wrong to blame her ... maybe we have aliens in our home that only come out when she has the camera in her hand?

It looks like an image of a thumb being warped by the camera's lens. The nonplanar effect may be so exaggerated because the thumb is so close and out of focus.

Yep i agree. The fact that its definetly skin coloured doesnt do much for it in terms of alien conspiracies.

Nor does the fact that the page that this pic comes from is trying to sell a book. To me, this is nothing more than a lengthy, drawn out, crappy attempt to sell another lame book.
