I think this is what some of the members are talking about.

Put the candle, or even a tea candle, at the bottom of an tall open jar, then hands placed on either side, perform the same experiment as the first video you post, while capturing it on video.

Here's a pic of a tall jar.



Now show them what you can do.

Even with a glass that size the pressure differentials from the hand waving will flow over the top of the glass and create turbulence in the glass opening enough for the flame to flicker.

But your on the right track, just need something taller, a tube might work as the updraft will mean the flame isn't suffocated but still both ends could be far away from the flame and hand.

I just recently got a puncture wound on my hand and if you want to attempt to heal it I would appriciate it...

Besides, if you do, all the skeptics will crap a brick...
