This is all pretty funny, because from military folks I've spoken to, the US actually does have an "invisible" aircraft. Evidently it is made from transparent aluminum- the entire thing is see through. The engine and pilot are both cloaked in an aluminum-foil-looking material that supposedly refracts light.

I don't have a link, because this is all based on personal conversations I have had with 1 current and 2 ex-military individuals. Their stories of this thing matched up, even though they were independent conversations.

I posted an idea a while back about an idea I had for and invisible aircraft. It wasn't actually "invisible" but it basically has a liquid crystal display (LCD) for an outer shell, protected by a clear sub-shell. The technology would use tiny digital cameras to "record" from above and play back on the LCD. It would be impossible to see. Anyone can see what I am saying if you have a digital camera with a display on the back, point it at the sky and look at the display. You can see that the technology wouldn't be that difficult.

I don't see how aluminum foil could make somthing invisable. I think we'd have discovered that before now, and it'd be common place.

It may make it hard to see if the jet is really far up. I don't know, what do you guys make of this?
