Huge Solar Radiation Storm

We can probably be expecting more and more of these throughout the year.

The sun eruption triggered the most powerful radiation storm since 2005 in a wave of charged particles that is expected to hit our planet Tuesday (Jan. 24) at around 9 a.m. EST (1400 GMT), according to experts at the Space Weather Prediction Center, which is operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

I think its going to hit the northern hemisphere too so i guess its worth looking for the northern lights if you live north enough.

already been posted, its an M9 class and will do little if anything, X class 15 and up is what you should worry about, not the M9
