Lazar knows some science. There are huge gaping holes in his explanation of how the "sport model" works. Clearly it is meant for the general public, not someone who knows even rudimentary physics.

You may be good at snooping around there now but that has nothing to do with secret tests in 1989. Trying to troll me into defending my record as a researcher is not going to work. So, what year did you first visit the range/Groome Lake, Mr Gariac. How many years out of date is your UNPROVEN testimony that there are no non-conventional tests. Or are you going to keep that from the members?

The Area 51 footage was probably the best episode of the whole series so far. I personally like the idea of researchers offering up alternative explanations of paranormal events. However, as you see by the video description written by SyFy, they have proclaimed themselves as "specialists". I completely disagree with the idea of people in their mid 20's appointed themselves as such. They seem to have confused a little bit of experience in one field or another as grounds to pin the "specialist" badge on themselves. Ben may have been in the FBI for a few years which is basically a glorified cop, but does not constitute as a specialist in the field of audio/video analysis or gives him the right to flat out call people liars..The day will come when he's incorrect in making such statements and there goes the crediability of the show.

I respect any person doing field work and experiements to recreate footage but i have to say in watching the show there seems to be alot of biased opinions floating around rather then a good objective observation. Specifically after watching the Halloween episode i was so disappointed to see about 15 or so minutes go to waste watching the group stare at smudges at an iphone picture they took from a puddle. Heres to hoping this season will be more interesting and present better crediable objective observations.

I generally ignore Pomander's posts because they contribute zero to any topic. Just ignorant ad hominems after ad hominems. It is pretty obvious from his posts he knows nothing about Groom Lake, just Bob Lazar fables and other nonsense. At least when you talk to a dog, they understand enough to wag their tail. Not so with Pommyander.

A FLIR would have issues with the jet engine heat. An EMCCD would be better. But still, there is the issue that they aren't flying test assets on a daily basis. The producers would need to set up a crew for weeks if not months to catch anything. That is not how these documentary producers work.

There is another Discovery Channel special in the works. [I get requests from time to time to be in these shows, but the day I do one of those specials is the day I get to produce it. Trust me, it would not mention J-Rod or Bob Lazar.]

I agree Bob Lazar's name has been mentioned too much in this field. The only thing that leads me to believe he may truly know something is he went from being a whistleblower who gave details about everything to a person who removed himself completely from the subject. I emailed him a few years back for a radio interview and he explained in the email he does not do any interviews associated with UFOs or government aerial project anymore. I thought that strange. Don't know if he's done any inverviews as of late but you are right, we need new names and fresh faces to this topic instead of the same 2-3 people all the time.
