Police sting yields results
AUSTIN - Last night brought an end to a two day long
sting operation conducted by the Austin Police Department.
The sting was targeted at the Hyde Park area where residents
had recently complained about the rampant illicit sexual
activity in the area at an open city council meeting. "Most
of the activity has been homosexual in nature", said city
councilmen John Goodin. "This stuff was going on in broad
daylight, and the area residents had had enough." Twenty
three police officers were involved with the operation and
were working closely with the D.A. to secure airtight cases
against all offenders who were rounded up in the sting.
Among those arrested for lewd conduct were three
area teachers and a cable TV employee who was on duty.
Also among the 34 men was native Austinite, Alex Jones.
Jones, who hosts his own local talk radio and public access
TV show, is better known for his public demonstrations.
"Right now he is being charged with lewd behavior and
indecent exposure, but that is all still pending", said Det.
Brian Murty. Officials from the district attorneys office said
that a charge of indecency with a child or still more serious
charges might follow for Jones because the male subject that
was in the company of Jones during the arrest has failed to
produce any form of identification and appears to be underage.
One local resident was not aware of the sting but glad to
hear some arrests were made. "I've lived here for seventeen
years and lately it had gotten really bad. Like I couldn't even
let my grand kids play in the park, even in the mornings. I
am glad the cops finally took action" said long time Hyde
Park resident Manual Luna.
Police officials say that they will keep up the increased
patrols in the area and continue to make arrests. Det. Murty
had this to say, "This type of behavior will not be tolerated in
any form. If you plan on coming to this park, it better be to
have a picnic." Local residents were happy to hear that some-
thing was finally being done and glad the police were
pledging to keep up the extra patrols.

Why did you feel you had to start 2 different threads on the same subject?

I agree,
BTW, what has this got to do with the New world order?

The homosexual relations within the park were reported here (Austin), but there was never any mention of names. It wasn't Hyde Park; it was Walnut Creek Park. It looks to me that someone twisted the story. Where did you get this particular article?

Alex Jones? They're probably trying to set him up 'cause he's rockin' that boat good. They tried to set up former weapons inspector Scott Ritter, too. It didn't work, tho. Just like this won't.
