They pulled down elderly women and children's underwear looking for terrorists, why is this a shocker? The TSA should be at the White House where the real terrorism is.

Funny I don't see it being covered on any of the news outlets.

Because Rand Paul is not a puppet for the military industrial complex that also owns the news networks.

Cynthia McKinney anyone?

Let's hope Rand handles this situation better than she handled her problem.

What's they objective of this move?

Another debate tonite in Florida, but I don't see how this helps anyone, except for Ron Paul.

He's sure to bring this up !

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul’s press secretary Moira Bagley tweeted on Monday that Transportation Security Administration officials were detaining her boss in Nashville, Tenn.

“Just got a call from @senrandpaul,” Bagley tweeted at about 10 a.m. on Monday. “He’s currently being detained by TSA in Nashville.”

Bagley hasn’t immediately responded to The Daily Caller’s request for comment for more details.

Give it a few minutes. Twitter is MUCH faster than the news. It's only just happening. Patience...

Yeah, it's early on in this "situation", but I can only see how this BENEFITS Dr Paul.

How can it hurt him?

Ron Paul is the one seeking presidential election.
Rand Paul is his son.

Beat me to it with this source.

I think the operative word here is 'detained'
What exactly does that mean. It doesnt say he was chosen for an enhanced search, a secondary screening or any of the other phrases we have been accustomed to hearing. It says detained. As in:

Definition of DETAIN
transitive verb
1 : to hold or keep in or as if in custody
2 obsolete : to keep back (as something due) : withhold
3 : to restrain especially from proceeding

detain defined

Could it just be that this is definition #2 or #3 where Rand is just being prevented from proceeding and we are reading too much into this?

Im sensing some kind of set up here . are they trying to get him to react poorly on camera?

ABC new has an interesting video of Rand s opinion on the TSA up.
