Most of you would have heard about Admiral Byrd and Operation Highjump.

Part of the legend says that Byrd flew or was guided into a large cavernous
opening and entered the underworld.
I think many years ago I read hand written pages from his journal but I recall
that it was debunked.

Over the last few years or so two large cavernous openings have been discovered
in Antarctica. These are really big and some people say they are evidence to
hollow earth and Admiral Byrd's flight during Operation Highjump.

Pics and google map image links below

A couple of days ago I created this thread here abovetopsecret.com
It is about strange things I have found in archive aerial photographs of Operation Highjump,
and is still something of a work in progress. I started this thread so the other does'nt get too
cluttered with photos and become confusing.
This next series of photos, like the other thread are authentic Operation Highjump photos
from the same database of the Australian Antarctic Data Centre

Film/Digital Series:M21-47
Run:2, which ranges from frame 67 to frame 144. Frame:78
Latitude:66.421° South 66° 25' 15.6" S
Longitude:98.033° East 98° 01' 58.8" E
Geographic Area:Bay Of Winds - Scott Gl.
Date:13-Feb-1947, known to Definite day, month and year
Average Height of Run:2950m

You will notice the coordinates are a close match to the google earth pics.
2,950 meters is an altitude of 9,678 feet.
So this enterance is huge, much larger than the two above

Could this region of Antarctica be hollow or honeycombed by linking cavern systems?
Are the old storys behind Admiral Byrd and his flight into the underworld true?
Maybe they are a series of ancient lava tubes?
What are your thoughts ATS, comments appreciated

Assuming gravity is centralized within the core, wouldn't flying into a cavernous hole essentially be a free fall?

It's a huge hole in the earth but might not be big enough to then maneuver a plane when in it...

Maybe if the ice melts it'll be a huge hole. One can only hope imagine what would happen if that was found out to be true.

I don't think the whole earth is hollow.

But I believe there are huge caves, hollow parts on earth where who knows what could live there. Just like how we find new species of fish in deep water every year. There must be something down inside earth that we don't know about right? Just think about how much space could be hidden down there.

It looks like one of the bottomless pits in skyrim.

I think the Yucatan peninsula is also honeycombed with caverns.
I remember reading something like that about South America

I've never believed in hollow earth...not even for a second.

Nice work tying these things together though.

Yes, that sums up my thoughts exactly!

Thanks for that!

Awesome find, but I don't see how a couple of caves contribute to the Hollow Earth Theory. Antarctica is full of harsh environments, and to find a hole whether it it from extreme winds, or the millions of years of melting water, it wouldn't be that uncommon to find some caves, and drain holes there. All you need is a crack, and some running water. S&F for the pics.

Nothing about those pictures suggest they are anymore than few hundred get deep. Not to mention Antarctica is thousands of feet above sea level...

I wouldn't say that one underground entrance is proof of a Hollow Earth. Still, it's an interesting story, and I used to be into it back in the day.

I remember reading a story about how some guy was riding an ATV around some caves with a friend, and he was about to crash into some wall when he lost control, but ended up going right through it as it was a hologram. He described massive tunnel systems with no visible lights yet a constant luminscent glow, and encountering some sort of creepy reptilian looking cave creatures. It was probably BS, but it was an interesting read.

What a cool thread. I hope you post more pictures, they are fantastic.

I had a professor once that believed the expanding earth theory. Although I have not read any connection to this and a hollow core it does show that there are alternative theories that have relevance.

Here is a link to the expanding earth theory.

Thanks again for the post please attach more pics!

I think what your saying is true, but there are many large cave systems around the world
that go for miles.
Here, we have 3 cavernous enterances and according to the coordinates they are in
the same proximity to each other.
This makes me think that there may be something under this region of Antarctica.

If you use your imagination, it looks like a hole.
If you use less imagination, it lokes like a lake.

The black and white fotos, are bad, could be anything.

The hollow earth....I don't know?

But sounds cool.

I remember that same story! I think I originally saw it on GLP about a year ago. That was quite a read. I remember he said he was with someone and lost one of the two ATVs he had with him down there while being chased by some monster and even wrote down the VIN number of the lost ATV. I might need to go find that story again and reread it. Kinda reminded me of that miniseries called "Amazing Stories" from back in the early 90s (I think).

You realize the Nazi SS built the buildings next to the mouth of that cave right? And the photos have been around for a couple years?

Are we all on the same page here?

Do you think that surface water in liquid form would be possible on Antarctica?
I'm not saying your wrong by any means but do you think that it could happen

I always assumed anything with water would freeze instantly down there

Unless it's a thermal spring...hmmm
