Aussie guy gets stuck by lightning while filming electrical storm

I came across this news report and had to share it with you all.
As the title says, an Aussie bloke was outside filming an intense
electrical storm when WHAMO! he gets lit up like a neon sign in Vagas.

It is actually very serious, and I'm glad to see he's ok
If he had been killed it would have been a tragedy for his family

But the darker side of me kinda thinks its funny
Am I sick or is that normal

Thats some war of the Worlds stuff.

There were something like 2000 Lightning strikes within an area of 30km,

Gotta say tho, that lightening and thunder was insane. Glad it didn't strike our old house, came damn close tho, never heard it so loud in my life!

I like the bit right at the start where he says
"We'll be alright here"

Then after he gets hit his wife says
"Do you need an ambulance?"
