Oh, I'm not saying that the kid wasn't maladjusted. Who's to say this kid's intentions weren't to actually do harm to these people?
Thankfully, no one got hurt.
Since, no one got hurt, however, as maladjusted as the kid's actions were, it may very well be that the kid's intentions were just that; to cause
fear, and terror without physical harm.
It's still sick, and the kid very definitely needs some serious help. I think, though, that this may very well be a case of a kid influenced by the
concept of real-life trolling as a phenomenon, and the kid was already a little bit 'special', or off a few degrees, where the mixture of this awful
online trend into real life acted out by this kid's warped interpretation of it got way out of hand.
I think it's another example of how easily influenced, soft-headed people get carried away too far by something they saw on the internet.
