I saw this as someones avatar here on ATS/BTS.

It's an animated gif, Will Ferrel as a rocker, playing a cowbell..
I wanted to show it to someone, 'cause it dang funny.

2 questions:
Who's Avatar is/was that?
Does he ever get tired of hitting that cowbell...?

Thanks,

Space

that is one of the funniest skits on SNL that I've ever seen...

Hey,

Thanks for the recommendation.
I'll have to rent it too!

I also like his Harry Carey impression. Is that on the DVD?

AND, do you know who is using the avatar I was talking about..?
I saw it last night, and could not find it again today..

I stole it from some kid I saw on another message board.

His Best of DVD is by far the best one. I wish they'd make a compilation of celebrity jeopardy too.

He's doing the "cowbell guy" from Blue Oyster Cult on the Don't Fear the Reaper track.

He does alot of old art rock and 80's spoof stuff.

Remember him doing Air Supply with Chris Kattan?

I think I dig your stuff....

In Old School he had a wedding band doing a "rockin' version" of Total (F'ing) Eclipse of the Heart.

Still haven't seen Anchorman, but I'm hoping he does a band parody movie next.

His "frat boy" Dubya is spot on too.

Pistol Pete!

Thanks dude, It was really buggin me.
Excellent choice, for "lifting" off another board.

RANT,
I saw anchorman, it was funny, but Ferrel has done better IMO.
I also saw Dodgeball, the same weekend. I thougt it was funnier.

I think he'd be great in a rock band Parody, with an Amp that goes all the way to 12, of course.
