Obama campaign video says U.S.-Israel bond 'unbreakable'

It sounds like perhaps Obama shouldn't be so trusting.

I never trusted him to begin with after all the crap about teachers changing songs dedicated to Jesus and remaking them for Obama and all the offhand comments about him being the Messiah and he allowed it and didn't deny it.

That ontop of his "Yes we can" slogan turned out to be "No we can't" and then this NDAA,SOPA,PIPA crap he's shoving down our throats a little too "lovingly". Kinda reminds me of some creepy old granny trying to spoonfeed a kid cyanide and telling them "its medicine".

You've got America, who's Lennie, huge, tough and strong...but dumb as hell.
And Israel is George, much smaller, but much wiser, and knows exactly how to control his bigger, tougher, stronger but dumber friend..

"Tell 'em about the rabbit's George"..or should it be " Tell 'em about IRAN george"...

Good comparison.

Anyone else remember what George did to Lennie though.

So this article is suggesting that Israel should assasinate its best freind? I do not understand where this common misconception that Obama is bad for Israel comes from. His rheotic may seem so, but his policies suggest otherwise.

What???

Dont you watch NCIS?
Ziva is a (former mossad) agent...and she lives in the US...
And I bet that most mossad agents dont look as good as she does either.

Actually I do watch NCIS. Not a bad show.

I have inside intel that the Ziva character is modeled from a real female Mossad agent and Israeli politician !!!

She's a real peach too !

Tzipporah Malkah "Tzipi" Livni (Hebrew: ציפורה מלכה "ציפי" לבני‎, born 8 July 1958) is an Israeli lawyer and politician. She is the current Israeli Opposition Leader[1][2] and leader of Kadima, the largest party in the Knesset. Raised an ardent nationalist, Livni has become one of her nation's leading voices for the two-state solution[citation needed]. In Israel she has earned a reputation as honest, clean, and sticking to her principles.[3][4][5][6][7] She is the first woman to be leader of the opposition in Israel.[8] In 2011 Livni was named one of "150 Women Who Shake the World" by Newsweek and The Daily Beast.[9]

Tzipi Livni

Warrant for: Tzipi Livni .. For violations of the Rome Statute
& 4th Geneva Convention

The most interesting fact in Tzipi (Tzipora Malka) Livni’s biography is not that her two parents, Eitan Livni and Sara Rosenberg, were prominent Irgun members who were arrested in the 1940s for terrorist activities (see Massoud Malek’s post, 11 February ), but the fact she was herself member of an elite assassination unit when she was in Paris serving for the Mossad.
ISRAEL'S FOREIGIN MINISTER TZIPI LIVNI WAS A MEMBER OF AN ELITE ASSASSINATION UNIT!

Lovely Girl that Tzipi is ...

definitely would be a "wild" date for sure !!

If I should ever confirm a man is indeed attempting to kill MY president regardless of whom he happens to be ,it is my responsibility to stop that person by all means necessary.
Politics can drive people to emotional extremes but killing is a failure of logic that ultimately harms the perpetrator of such an act.

Well, Ms. Livni sure had a colorful life. But all Isreali citizens are expected to serve in the military when they reach a certain age and even if you stay there for 2 yrs just visiting, you are expected to serve as well since you are living under their protection. So its not surprising that Ms Livni worked for mossad at one point in her military career.

But I was right about one thing, Ziva is a lot hotter than Ms Livni!!!

Wow Maybe all countries should stop funding these Israeli terrorist. Maybe if Israel were to stop picking fights and stealing land they wouldn't need protection . If Israel wants a war they can go fight it themselves or are they to chicken to fight a country that has a military. Maybe Iran has a right to defend themselves with a nuclear weapon like Israel does. Israel is garbage and these people should of never been allowed to take this land by force. What is with these religious states in the western world (usa , uk , france , Israel and now canada) All they want to do is war , fight and kill each other that oppose the bible or interests.

Nice emotional speeches by all of you. Way to go.

That being said, publisher should be thrown into jail. If he's dumb enough to come up with such an article, threatening a country's leader life, he won't mind jail time.
Who in their right mind publishes an article that suggests assassinating a president and expects to get away with it? Stupid.

I'd be happier than that if Navy Seals stormed the White House, and escorted Obama and all his papers down to the hearing in Georgia on the 26th.

Perhaps Barry is setting up a false flag where he gets bumped off apparantly, then goes into hiding.

He avoids the court hearing.

Isreal get a window to hit Iran.

He has experience of faking assassinations.... aka Bin Laden

I that option were used, it would not force the Next President to opt in for destroying Iran, it would guarantee Israel's absolute destruction if it were ever made public that Israel backed such actions.

The man was talking out of his backside and has no real sense of direction on matters but he was just discussing an opinion more than anything on options. It's pathetic just the same.

Sure but only if Israel is publicly acknowledged as being behind such an attack. It is not as if no one in the US administration wants what this guys wants, even if for different reasons. So what would be the big problem if they were to assassinate him and blame it on an Iranian patsy and claim it was an attempt by the Iranians because they believed US was close to attacking them?

The man was talking out of his backside and has no real sense of direction on matters but he was just discussing an opinion more than anything on options. It's pathetic just the same.

What is pathetic is that he actually named a hit. It is totally stupid. He could easily have said they should pray for a quick death for Obama in an accident or some other miracle so that Joe Biden could step into his shoes and do what he believes is in Israel's interests.

Such wishes usually have a way of becoming true. Remember the necons were wishing for a new Pearl Harbor like event to strengthen the resolve of America to go after Middle East states and pat came 9/11.

So if Israel wishes for Obama to die soon in an accident, a "lone gun man" or better still "Iranian spy" could assassinate Obama.

The phenomena of Jewish antisemitism is well known amongst Jews.

I find it way too unbelievable that Mr. Adler when writing the article couldn't foresee the backlash it would receive. He's a Jewish American suggesting that Israel assassinate the American president. Isn't that too good? Does he not realize the Jewish people already suffer a horrible reputation? Do they need a Jew suggesting something as egregious as this, to give plenty of ammo to the "anti-zionists" and antisemites out there?

I just cannot believe that he would claim 'naivete' or rash judgement for publishing this article, AS A JEW, AS AN AMERICAN, when he probably knew perfectly well the political repercussions. He runs the Newspaper for Christs sake. And besides, who he is trying to convince by writing this article? The sheer absence of any practical value this article would affect immediately suggests to me some foul intention.

I wouldn't be surprised to discover that he wrote this article with the intention to create this sort of reaction. A reaction clearly PREDICTABLE....that provides the enemies of Israel/Jews with some propaganda material.

Were these articles written by a JEWISH AMERICAN?

I know that some more radical groups, such as the 'nation of islam' (farakhan i believe said something like this before, not an assassination perse, but a call for muslim countries to rise up against American troops etc)) have said stuff along similar lines, but they've done it knowing they had a political clemency of a sort; it's expected that these minority groups speak this way. The Jewish community, however, is different. Most people already consider it as an established fact the "jews run the world", and today there is a growing anti-Israel sentiment, particularly amongst Liberals and Muslims, but it's also gaining ground in other communities as well. Therefore, Jews have a greater responsibility because they should realize the animus that exists out there for both the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. Therefore, it is basic logic that caution should be taken when writing articles.

Then, perhaps this was a psyops so to speak ? IMO

Interesting concept. IMO

Widely used in fact. IMO

"He/They" obviously knew this would not be a "first run" article in the Washington Post or Chicago Tribune.
So by using a localized publication to further some kind of agenda knowing full well that a widespread audience would eventually be reached by default.

Yes, he had to have something "beyond" just the article and opinions themselves in mind to actually publish something this wild.

I wonder if he acted alone on this or was a "not yet identified" organization really behind this ?

Hmmm.

I also would question how this got through other editors and proof readers as well (if any).

We (IMO) could be wrongly assuming he "acted alone" as a single psychopath, as I'm sure many are thinking by now.

I wonder who really needs a psychiatric evaluation ?

Quite likely. But why would he do that? Increased circulation for his paper because of increased notoriety? Or is he being used by US interests opposed to Israel to generate this kind of negative publicity for Israel as well as Jewish Americans? In which case how naive has he to be to do that? Or does he believe anything is permissible, as long as it is supposed to defend Israel's interests?

I would say one motive would be money as usual.

Maybe somebody representing some organization actually paid for this.

He may not be the psychopath in this case.

You can spin it that way but rest assured that Israel would be dust.
Not going to happen and if it did Israel would be feeling a military wrath unlike any before.

But why would he do that?

To generate anti-Israel sentiment. Perhaps it's his own agenda, or maybe he's working with another group which seeks to demonize Israel. Either way, I don't think he needs a financial incentive to demonize Israel, as it's most probably an ideological feeling he has.

Very often the people who demonize Israel are themselves Jews. Almost every single book to date which has suggested a controversial alternative history of either Jewish Ashkenazic origin, or Zionism's history in Israel, has been written by a Jew. Examples of the former being Arthur Koestler (the 13th tribe, which argues that Ashkenazic Jewry derives from the Kazhars, a 8th century eastern european kingdom) Shlomo Sands etc. With the latter you have Israel 'revisionist' historians, led by Benny Morris, Ilan Pappé etc..

Increased circulation for his paper because of increased notoriety?

It's a local Jewish newspaper from Atlanta. Do you think he's really seeking increased circulation? Are there 'competing' Jewish newspapers in the city of Atlanta? Probably not.

I think if he did write this article with the intention of creating an uproar, he carefully considered the consequences: His article would be remembered as an outstanding example of Jewish arrogance (the desired result), but his paper would retain it's readership, because after all, his readers are Atlanta Jews, who stick together, as we well know.

All he has to do to regain their sympathy is to 'apologize' for the article. In my opinion, his newspaper should be blacklisted for suggesting something, as an AMERICAN citizen, so flagrantly illegal. The only word that truly captures the essence of what he did is Chutzpah. This is a perfect example of it.

Already so many people think Israel controls America. By suggesting the assassination of Obama, he implied that Israel by accomplishing this act will garner the necessary leverage to keep America as Israels main support. Additionally, it gives people the false impression that Obama is so 'anti-israel', and that America policy is dictated by him, when that is patent nonsense. You take Obama out and the only thing accomplished by that act would be to put someone else with the same agenda in his place.

And what about the obvious fact of suggesting that in an American newspaper. Say Obama did get assassinated. EVERYONE would then know that Israel was behind it! And this in turn would be the catalyst for further anti-Israel sentiment, not to mention antisemitism, in both America and abroad.

What IF it did happen (God forbid!) and Israel was'nt behind it at all but is accused of it based upon an article in a small insignificant Jewish newspaper ???

This certainly is playing in the hands of all the anti-semites......perhaps that was the goal?

The assassination of all past world leaders has always been committed by home grown terrorists.

The assassination of all past world leaders has always been committed by home grown terrorists.

When JFK was assassinated, it was suggested in some circles that a Jew did it, and this made the American Jewish establishment very paranoid. When it was discovered that indeed, it was a homegrown event, many hearts in America and Israel (JFK wasn't exactly on good terms with Israel. Lyndon Johnson was considered to have mended whatever break existed between the two governments) especially, were lightened.

This just shows that Jews are always considered when something like this happens; especially in the post Israel era, where Israel is considered to be tied at the waist with America.

However, since this was mentioned in some insignificant local Atlanta newspaper, one could argue 'it doesn't mean anything'. But since it's reached national attention, it means everything. If something were to happen (God forbid indeed) to Obama, undoubtedly Israel would be blamed, cause an idiotic, and perhaps collusive, American Jewish Newspaper owner suggested it as a shrewd POLITICAL move. And that would be the icing on the cake,. Obama would be viewed as a president that resisted the Israel lobby (which some argue he has been) and so in his death would be considered a martyr, inasmuch as he stood against Israel, which has been conclusively linked to the assassination because a) the view is already paramount that Israel controls everything, and b) because an arrogant, pompous newspaper owner advised this as a necessary course against a president that could be preventing American involvement in a military campaign against Iran.

Aside from all this speculation, of IF Obama gets assassinated, this suggestion by itself is moronic. It is ARROGANT, by far, that anyone would even suggest that as an American, showing that his allegiance is first to Israel, and only incidentally to the country of his livelihood. Also, it is just so obvious to anyone with a modicum of an understanding of human nature, that this political discourse of his would be used AGAINST Jews and Israel.

Jews are a messed up group. Those who hate Israel the most are Jews. The leftist liberal humanists, despite calling themselves Jews (how tribal and racist of them to separate themselves from the mass of humanity!) work everyday like worker bees to dismantle the Jewish spirit, which they accomplish foremost in their control of the Jewish state (creating the 'sabra', the Israeli born, unjewish, or dejudaized, Jew, who prefers to be called Israeli, because Jew is a meaningless term to him)...

We live in a screwy world.
