Of course Pakistan civilians burn the American flag, they're sick and tired of the US military and their drones killing them, among other things.

Pakistanis protest U.S. drone attacks

old.tehrantimes.com...

Thousands of Pakistanis have staged an anti-U.S. demonstration in the port city of Karachi, calling for an end to U.S. drone attacks, and Washington's interference in the region.

I see you're trying to paint it as if America has done no wrong, but has been wronged, while they save the day.

Sorry, I don't buy it.

I dislike in Americans what I dislike in fundamentalist muslims.

CONTROL FREAKS.

It's a plank in my eye and I want to pluck it out.

But I mainly responded because I don't know what JEWSA means. ??

You'd be crying all over the place begging us back after the first hour. (and yeah, I'm talking about your electricity and your computer). For two. Think about it.

Lol stop being ridiculous. If everything that came from America just vanished, I think the world would be okay..Heck, there's places around the world right now that don't depend on the U.S & seem to get along fine.

People hate America for what it is NOW.

Not what it used to be.

We all know just how many inventors & things have come out of America.

But just as many "bad" (depending on how you look at it) things have come out of the U.S too..Which is what people are choosing to hate.

Not argueing, and I agree. To point out;

That is because even with our scaled down arsenal, the rest combined still don't match us in numbers.

Theoretically speaking.
If an invasion on the Continental US was possible, it more than likely would have occurred by now. An offensive on the USofA is and has not been an option for them to pull off, hence the guerrilla versus convention wars.

Personally I say, the emerging trend of cyber warfare is the new trend of the new type of wars we may face.

While conflicts will continue and persist, our track record in history speaks for it's self.

America may not be the pillar of international society it once was...
Shame really...

How ever, as a people we still stand for what our nation began as, despite our governments handlers agendas.

As you may notice, my signature says the rest in my opinion.

And on the Pakistan thing, they are nothing more than a loose cannon gone rogue by the CIA. ISI are a carlos the jackel type with nothing else to profit than disaster capitalism.

The CIA should have done some in house cleaning, and corrected the problem, but it seems they encourage it...

As a well traveled American, what I see is that people don't hate Americans but they dislike the actions of the American government.

What are they passing in congress now?

I'm just saying if you don't like us, there's the door. It's like me going into your favorite Pub and saying how much I don't like you and the other patrons.

Again, you as a person are not the problem.
It's the policy makers and the decissions they're making lately?

NDAA?
SOPA?
PIPA?
Patriot Act?

Tell me your proud of that as an american.

And some people might have a problem with the actions they're making.
Because some decisions affect the globe?

With gives them the right?
That's why some people are fed up.

Honestly you should be too.
America was a great nation but has been goong down the drain lately.
I think some of you might be in denial about that.

I can't speak for Americans, but it seems clear to me that most people hate your government's constant meddling in everyone else's affairs. America has appointed itself as policeman of the world, to promote freedom and democracy for all...but only if you have something they want. America's foreign policy is entirely self serving, and based on the pure greed of it's puppetmasters.

I think Chris Rock(a truly great American IMO, and one of many) said it best: "People don't hate America, they hate the hypocrisy of our democracy."

Peace...

Step forward and let us all know what country you're from so we can compare apples to apples.

Otherwise you are being an outside agitator who does not give a fair turn around.

Now if you're not a US citizens how do those effect/affect you?

Maybe, but I think the world at one time needed Americas help, and we came calling. The Axis of evil in 1939-1945 Prime example. Again,it still doesn't change the fact that Americans in general, are peaceful. Unfortunately, the ignorance spewed makes ALL Americans, guilty by association to their country.

So you take the things you like and raise hell about the things you don't? Things about my country are often confusing and infuriating, I agree. People often to choose to see what they want to see. It's complicated here. Probably more than you know.

You know, you never see an American come on ATS and start a threat about what a piece of crap England is.
Or Canada. Or Australia, or Brazil, or any other civilized nation. Oh wait! Must be because we can't think of anything negative!

I agree. As a country,we may have stepped down from the rung,a bit. That being said,America still has a good base to work from. Change for the good could, and hopefully will happen.

You would be a complete fool to think America is an angel, but that is the picture you painted in your original post. Just because you wrote a follow up post explaining yourself more thoroughly doesn't mean I was wrong about your original post.

That said, is it really any wonder that America gets so much hate these days? America's enemies have always been there but it's the regular people who are, I dunno, waking up and seeing, finally, what it is that America is really doing. America and her western allies are clearly on their own war path with their own agendas, the American people have no say in the matter. If America wants to use military force against Middle Eastern nations the American citizen has no say. Sure, we can protest, like the hippies did, but America will still go to war.

Just because America does good deeds doesn't mean that should ever overshadow all the Terrible things America has done and plans on doing. This is why so many people are anti-American, or anti-Gov't, or anti-Establishment.

America has corrupt people ruling their lands and making their rules. It's time to end this and it all begins with people waking up and realizing America is full of poop and needs to be called out on her BS

One of the reasons many oppose sopa is because of this very point. Sopa would allow u.s. law to intervene in international countries. It would affect the entire internet as a whole.

U.S. law already prohibits copyright violation.

Can you confirm whether or not this would actually happen?

As new age as this may sound, i dont care really, im a citizen of the world no more no less.
Our country has been getting worse as well.

If sopa is passed and if i understand correctly it still might be.
It wouldn't just restrict internet acces for americans now would it?

Also ill try to dig up a thread tomorrow about the us being able to arrest and detain anywhere in the world.
Im on my iphone right now, to much of hassle maybe you saw the thread yourself..

We were once paragons of ingenuity. Look at us now. America was once nearly self sufficient in all things. Look at us now. We were once the most prosperous, wealthy nation in the world. Look at this nation of paupers now. We were once the land of the free. Look at this financially enslaved people now. We were once the home of the brave. Look at this land of political correctness now. America is dying my friend, and the sheeple bid her adieu instead of raging against the dying of the light.

The rise of Liberalism did this to us. The idea that the United States can be a socialist nanny state with cradle to grave policies which gives handouts all along the way has got to end. I for one think we still have a chance. I think it will come when those rugged individualists stand up and finally vote the right people into office. I'm talking about the ones who really will cut the bureaucracy and waste out of our system and give those savings back to the people to spend how they like. Capitalism does work, Liberty does work.

I'm 42, in 5-10 years I will run for public office somehow. Whether it is local or state I will run for some real change to what is happening now.

I have been clearly seeing a general distrust, and and out right hatred for anything that shares an American point of view on ATS.

From Americans themselves, wishing on the demise of this great County.

"Warmonger" and "Peacehater" have become the rebuttal of the day.

JEWSA are the newest catchphrases.

As America stands actively to respond to the threats of the World,I find it disheartening to say the least.
With the economic upheaval,to World Wide Job loss,It seems that America, and what it stands for,has become the linchpin of BLAME.

Americas flags burn from America to Pakistan.

4 charged after 2 U.S. flags burned at Occupy Charlotte site

As U.S.-Pakistani relations sink, nations try to figure out ‘a new normal’

While the aid still flows to Pakistan from the very Americans, the world has come to despise.

Although military assistance is currently the only form of US aid to Pakistan to be withheld, Congress has considered other - as yet unsuccessful - bills to also block US economic assistance, and civilian aid to Pakistan will no doubt be up for debate again next year, as the 2012 budget battles get underway.

Sixty years of US aid to Pakistan: Get the data As the US announces it is to withhold military aid to Pakistan, find out how much money America has given to the country since 1948

While American "Warmongers",are willing to rescue those in need........

The U.S. Navy says it has led a rescue operation to help the crew of a sinking Iranian fishing vessel in the Arabian Sea -- the third such operation in two weeks.

U.S. Navy Rescues Iranian Fishermen

Not one country is Perfect, but Fear is the ever prevailing specter,in a World, hellbent on destruction.
While country's like America, are geared to reduce their aging Nuclear weapons stockpiles,Country's like North Korea,India,Pakistan, and even Iran, have been gearing up to show theirs.

Americans want peace. In a perpetual world of War,it is easy to blame America, while pointing the finger, and have three pointing back at you.

Have at it ATS.

Let the Blame game begin.

(Mods,please move if needed)

US had support of all the world when 911 happened but you missused it totaly and showed the world the thruth of what you have become. Us create it's own problems and deal with the outcome and some of your citizens earn big money from the peoples taxes. War is big buisness even when there is not oil. But when there is oil, US have to attack the country if ÚS cannot control it. Us is good with propaganda and telling the world they are the good guys. If you want to stop the nuclear race stop attacking other countries. The only insurance to not be attacked by US nowdays seem to be mutual destruction scenario. Stop the violence and the stealing of other countries resources by your companies and I think the world will stop thinking your country is a bully. You are like a thief that is getting pissed of that people get upset when he is robbing a neighborhoud with firearms.

Generalizing Americans, and pointing out"fundamentalist" ,next to religion is Apples to Oranges.

There are MANY different type of Americans, with MANY different types of religions, including American born "Fundamentalist" Muslims.

JEWSA was supposed to be a mixture of Jew and USA.

And that little catty remark works both ways.

No country claims to be perfect, (I hope), and certainly the USA doesn't, and we never have. We are still, and will always be, a work in progress. Much like yourself.
