I read a few posts and then just got mad with the clowns that just puke up liberal talking points.It seems if you notice that most of what is said is almost forbattem in every post and for most poster's.

I'm not sure why you started a thread like this unless your just looking to present a platform for the America hateing progressive liberals and socialist.............as if they needed another platform.

You bet America has its faults as does every other nation, as long as humans are what we are it will always be that way, so really what we have here is a lot of hypocrites liveing in glass house's throwing rocks.

If America was to get lucky ...just once...and vote in a person like Ron Paul (who I really don't care much for) and he really did pull back all the troops and foriegn aid, emptied all the base's all over the world, then I think you would hear a whole new kind of whinning about America, just once in my life I would like to see America tell the rest of the world to "shove it where the sun don't shine"............................just once.

How is it that this discussion is even happening? Why do you people all seem to think that your identity is tied to the governmental entity which rules over the ground on which you were born?

Doesn't this seem insane?

America is a Continent and not a Country

First of all let's get this correct....we do not OWN the entire continent of AMERICA.

AMERICA is a continent comprised of North and South AMERICA and is not an individual Country.

Canadians, Brazilians, Mexicans and Venezuelans are also Americans.

There isn't hatred for the United States of America....but for those who control everything about it ....under the guise of a free and democratically legislated Republic.

Our votes matter little if at all for look at what transpired as to when Americans voted for "Hope and Change"
we ended up with only more of the same....Wars for Oil to benefit the Zionists and Neo Conservatives.

This is not what the founding father's had intended and why the Govt was based upon a system of checks and balances amongst the 3 branches of Govt....The Executive, Judicial and Legislative.

Today we only seem to elect Millionaires and self proclaimed Royalty who don't care about you or I but only the highest bidder.

And also as to why they have the world's best healthcare and we have nothing.

The founding fathers were attempting to reconstruct the Roman Empire on the graves of Indians and the backs of Africans.

The wars are about solidifying global power as a singularity, which is necessary in order for you to keep your crappy technological society.

Maybe,but I think the world at one time needed Americas help,and we came calling. The Axis of evil in 1939-1945 Prime example. Again,it still doesn't change the fact that Americans in general,are peaceful. Unfortunately,the ignorance spewed makes ALL Americans,guilty by association to their country.

I really hate to get involved in these kind of threads because they happen every other week, but excuse me - 1939? America came calling in 1939? Where exactly? Your president was acting on the advice of his gangster ambassador to England who surmised there would soon be swastikas in Downing street and advised NOT to get involved.

America joined the war a couple of years later for different reasons - if you are going to be all gung ho at least get your facts right. No disrespect for the people who fought, but not much respect for people who don't learn.

Personally I've always referred to them as just fries. Does not matter to me if they are imported from France, or made here in USA.

I really haven't seen a hatred for America on ATS. I have seen a lot of criticism of the government(s) of the U.S. on many levels, and most of it has been justified.
Is it "hatred" of America when you oppose destroying another country, like Libya, for the benefit of some huge international corporations? Or, opposing SOPA or PIPA? Or election fraud to get another puppet for Israel in office?

Anyway I do not think most hate Americans, just the leaders of the world. Most countries hate there leaders as well but when the US has so much influence around the world naturally they step on a lot more peoples toes. By the way that whole aid to Pakistan is obviously just for show, the US are getting something in return that is for sure. Just as people blame Americans, they also blame Iranians, the British and so on.

Anyway it was stated many times in this thread, that it is the US Government that most people hate, but the Op including alot of other people seem to be taking it personal i wonder why that is??.
I don't like our leaders atm, but i wouldn't take it personally if someone said they hate what Ireland is doing (Even if we are doing nothing atm)...

Its the USA Government that thinks it can patrol the Internet (SOPA) , that doesnt only include blocking websites from the USA but from everyone in the world, what gives them the right to do that i ask?.

The USA abuses the whole world because they have the capacity to do so. It is that simple. If Islam had the capacity, they would be doing it. Insert any other group. Power itself is the threat.

Anyway, it is all over now. China is now in charge. I am just waiting for them to go to the UN and tell everyone "party's over guys, go on home. We'll call you if we need you."

The world will be a whole lot better when it is run by the Chinese. Although they are definitely not going to be as kind as the US has been. If that sentence even makes sense.
