so, you don't have a problem with doctors ordering a bunch of tests needless
this makes absolutely no sense to me, unless there's a little bit a bias in you when it comes to women and the medical care that they need but males really don't....
I consider the testing issue and needless waste of resources that happens today to be entirely separate. That has everything to do with the lack of Tort reform and the fact is that if ANYTHING goes wrong, and some Lawyer can show that a test MIGHT have changed the outcome, the Doctor has severe problems in his future and malpractice coverage. So..we get enough tests on everything to go blind from.
No Bias here....I don't think Vasectomy ought to be free either. Covered by insurance? Sure thing...but not 100% gratis as a requirement for every insurance company doing business in the United States.
^^..and that, right there, really is the heart of the matter. In general terms, I wouldn't have ANY problem with an Insurance company deciding to offer this without Co-Pay. That might even make them more attractive to some in a truly competitive environment for coverage...which we don't have now. It's when Uncle Sam ORDERS private insurance companies to cover this..or cover that...100% free to the members, whether they like it or not, that it becomes flat out wrong.
