New Canadian member

Hi ATS, my browser messed up there, so my post is blank at the moment**


Well, greetings again from Canada.

I joined because I want to deny ignorance, seeking truthful answers from many opinions, of all walks of life.

Some of my interests are; UFO's, Technology, Space Exploration and Video Games. Some Political stuff, but not as much.

I hope to find some good knowledge in this forum and look forward to ALOT of reading.

Hi FearEater, and welcome to the Introductions Forum, a place to say hello to the ATS community. For now you can reply to any thread in any member forum you wish, as well as send & receive (PM's) Private Messages to Staff only for now.

Once you have achieved 20 posts, you will then be able to start your own threads in the appropriate forums and additionally send & receive messages to and from fellow ATS members.

The blank post being a conspiracy! That made me laugh and my heart skipped a beat when the browser went haywire there. Original intro kind of disappeared, so I quickly slapped that one together (btw, avocado is one of my favorite foods, yum!)

**To Canadian brothers: Hope you like hockey, cause my team is bringing the cup home this year (hopefully, anyways). Vancouver Canucks should have it together this year, again hopefully *fingers crossed*

Well, I am in BC, but not the coast. The Kootenays, center of the Rockies. 2010 feet high.
I used to live in Peterborough Ontario, moved to Vancouver BC, but so much enjoyed going through the Rockies, I relocated one more time to there.

We have still yet to see any real snow falls, as this year we have barely 3 feet in the yard. Last year was about 5 feet, and before that (2009) there was over 7 feet in the yard. I miss the snow, but at the same time I don't.

I do not. That is a classic jersey, though. I like that one more than the current choice they use.
I like to call myself a real fan, although the money factor is preventing me from showing my true love for the club. I never miss a game, if that counts, lol.
--Favorite players are Ryan Kesler, Janik Hansen, Cody Hodgson, Corey Schnieder, Alex Burrows and *the new member, injured but playing again* David Booth ... But really, they are all awesome players. A well built and rounded team.

I'm still battling with my avatar/background image. This is one tough obstacle.
It should look like this:

There Not too difficult.

1 Save the image to your computer that you posted a couple of posts back.
2 Click on the Tools tab on your ATS menu bar.
3 Click on the tab "ATS Uploads"
4 Up load the file
5 Wh Image has uploaded, double click it.
6 After doudble clicking you have some options, one of them says use Avatar.
7 Go back to Tools on your ATS Toolbar and click tools
8 Notice half way down the page your avatar has a link tp your image already inserted.
9 Just click submit on the button beside it.
Presto done.


Sorry I never even noticed you had sorted it out.

Same for the background image (more or less).

I did do all those steps and the image is in my profile uploads section. But it would appear to be cutting about 30% of the bottom of the image out, to a point where the message at the bottom, does not show at all, which I find strange & hurts the whole image.

Unless my avatar shows up in full for everyone else except myself, that would be a double strange. I might go play around on MS Paint and see if anything works out better. This kitten must have that message showing, it just has to.

Edit: Alrighty, I did some magical works on Paint and now it looks better.
