Thats ridiculous! How the hell could someone just simply steal radioactive material from a nuclear power station?

Its all too convenient, perhaps a part of a jigsaw that is yet to be played out? I remember when they said Bin Laden was responsible for the bombing of the USS Cole, didnt think much about it at the time, but it turned out they were just laying the foundations for 911.

I can't even walk around Meijer's without 50 security cameras tracking down on me. How do they let this happen?

The article says low level material that isn't really a threat. So.... What might a nuke plant under construction have which is radioactive, but far short of what is required for the plant operation down the road?

It's just an idea, since the story says no one is talking in any further detail, but perhaps they have low level slug material to test containment shields and detection equipment as it's being installed for plant security and operations?

I'm just trying to think of what WOULD be on a construction site that is far from a completed and secure facility. That is all that comes to mind..... Anyone else have ideas?

Well, how much radioactive material was stolen and what kind of radioactive material are they talking about?
There is not enough information to determine the potential threat.

Anyhow, to what extent is this a threat?! It doesn't seem to be a big deal apart from the security breach on the nuclear power station.
What kind of material and how much of it would you need to do any significant damage?

as it says....

Nowhere in the article does it mention isolotope, so where does that info come from???

If the material is just an isotope for some sort of testing that would make a whole hell of a lot more sense, considering the site was still under construction
