You could be surprised by how many people know, if you would pay more attention to it. People are becoming more and more aware of who they are as time goes by.

Anything that needs validation or adulation or reformation or salvation is probably not for me! Those would be the evil or negative forces.

You always have the choice, it is the beauty and possibility of life. Seeing something as evil is a personal perception. What is evil for you might be good for another. It all depends on values, culture, personal character, etc.

Spirituality is not for the few, it is all there is. But people have been taught materialism and believe in the material world. The material world can not 'exist' without the spirit.
The material appears to be solid but it is not, it just appears and disappears, continually changing, it is temporary.
It is the spirit that sees, hears, tastes and touches what appears. Nothing can be known without spirit.
