Indeed, So many in the GOP, I believe, are overlooking the fact that many discouraged Obamanoids

will make the switch to Ron Paul. Perhaps even moreso as an Independent candidate. Winning/losing the

GOP nomination isn't an end.

Colbert said if he HAD to pick one of the four on the stage last night, it would be Paul. I agree. But that's hardly an endorsement as president. If I had to pick one of those guys I'd pick Paul. That doesn't mean that I endorse Paul or that I'm voting for him.

Seems a lot of the talking heads are taking up a bit for Dr Paul, Stewart and Maher are two others I've seen. Maher disappointed though, when challenged last week on Paul's foreign policy. But hey...all this gets his name out there for further scrutiny and consideration, and that's a win any way you slice it.

The other 3 change their stances , to suit the audience.

See, I see it differently. I think we do HAVE to pick someone other than Obama. In reality, we know it has to be one of those guys on the stage, because an Independent can't actually win the Presidency.

Therefore, by default, we HAVE to pick Paul. He is the only guy on that stage that can compete with Obama and also provide a significant push back to Liberty, Freedom, and Free Market Capitalism.

I can't imagine anyone still wanting to vote for Obama, but I know there are a whole lot of people who will. In fact, my whole office minus a few of my close friends, will be voting for Obama.

I will only vote for Ron Paul, or write-in myself or my father. The country is going to hell in a handbasket any other way, so I will only be voting to ease my own conscience for the inevitable SHTF coming during the next president's 4 years. I feel it is almost impossible to avoid a large-scale country disruption, riot, revolution, or something along those lines. Too many liberties have been eroded, too much money has been stolen, too many people are disgruntled.

So, I'll vote for Ron Paul, with the hopes that he can push us back closer to the foundations of our country, and also to ease my own conscience if things all fall apart and I have to do what I have to do to survive.

One of the rare times that he actually went off-character to be serious...hardly an endorsement?

I'm surprised Ron Paul didn't come out of the nearest mirror and chop them all up. I mean last night the networks made it seem like if you say his name something bad would happen. The CNN post-debate wrap-up show went FIFTY FOUR minutes before mentioning his name and then only to say that they hadn't talked about him yet and then ended the show.

I respect alot of the post you make but this one made absolutly no sense.

So lets say you will vote in this primary/presidential election. In that case when it comes to the point of decision of who you are going to put down on the ballot, you HAVE to make a choice.

So please explain to me the difference between having to choose one of the candidates and the normal election process. Arnt they one in the same?

Ron Paul supports FREEDOM (well, the ones he agrees with, that is). If you support freedom, AS I DO, then it would seem that you would support the FREEDOM for me to make my choice, even if you disagreed with it.

Bottom line? If you're going to disrespect me outright because of my own personal choice in exercising my right to vote, then you can keep your respect. If you give respect only to those who agree with you, I don't want it.
