Alright so could be good news or bad news but my laptop went out so I will have to be updating from my phone when I can hopefully I can get a new one soon.

Is it firing up at all? if it is hold a lit up torch/flash light flat to the screen, if the picture is there you should be able to fix this. other wise its dead lcd
for arround 20 - 60 dollars depends. I would replace the inverter board could be cfls(lights that light up screen) not giving any power at all.

if its not lighting up after replacing this its the clfs tubes replace them.

So it's 452 am and I'm at work my security partner and I were on the back elevator we got in and pushed the 1 floor button so the door started to close and then the 4 floor button lit up and the door shot open.
