How did you know that I am always running late?

Then, when we are finally going out the door,I have
to go to the bathroom!
Sorry. There's no excuse for that.
Once a month, MAYBE.
Every blessed time . . . no way.
There's dynamics going on that are either your psychology needing adjustment or relationship dynamics needing adjustment.
For many couples, it's passive aggressive FORCING hubby to attend to you by having to wait--a kind of super obnoxious passive aggressive way of
getting back at him for not noticing you more attentively in all the ways you have expected along the way of daily life.
A major feature of women (and some men) being chronically late is
THEY LOVE TO DRAW ATTENTION TO THEMSELVES because daddy didn't give them ENOUGH of a
HIGH ENOUGH quality of love the first 6 years of life.
And, they are still trying to FORCE the level of recognition and attention they crave so desperately out of the men in their life to make up for the
holes daddy left. It's a sick game.
Go in your own vehicle or get ready on time if you have to START getting ready AN HOUR EARLY.
It REALLY IS an INFURIATING irritation for most men to ALWAYS have to wait on a dwaddling, thoughtless woman.
I quickly got to the point I just wouldn't play. When we had one vehicle, the wife would be left if she wasn't ready. With two vehicles--I just
leave in mine.
Chronic lateness is some sort of sick game. Fix the sickness--whether it's personal or relational.
imho.
