Can you imagine what this debate would be like WITHOUT Paul? It would be SO depressing. War with Iran would be inevitable.

I don't really get how RP can talk about cutting overseas spending and the point just gets ignored by all the other candidates. Is it because they can't argue with it?

They believe we want to be at constant war.

He is not vowing, he said it is in his (spending/budget) plan. Nobody can guarantee the actions of over 400 house members especially when some of them will be changing this year as well.

In my opinion, it is very possible, depends how much of the American population Ron can get on his side.

Oh really???

But I bet you hold Obama responsible for everything he said he "planned" to do and couldn't get done...right???

Amazing...you are already admitting you won't hold Ron Paul to his campaign promises.

So what the hell are we listening to him for if we all know he can't do anything that he is proposing??? Maybe this is why they don't give him much time in debates...because they know he is talking fantasy and not reality.

Newt always does the same trick:

He repeats the question but adds a tad bit more to the question to make it sweeter and gets applause

Yeah Santorum does appear unusually tense and uptight -- which is saying something considering he's usually fairly stiff. He just comes across as such a whiny child, how can he not be aware of how he comes across?

Obama has NO EXCUSE. A majority in the House and Senate. They had no barriers to their plans except the people themselves scaring them straight on most things.

Calm down, I hold the things against Obama that he PROMISED to do. Something as easy as rejecting the re-authorizing of the Patriot Act HE COULDN'T EVEN DO even though he had the full power to do it.

You are FREE to write down as many promises Ron Paul made on the campaign trail (none that I can recall) and hold him up to it when he becomes president.
