And he wonders why he doesn't get the older vote???

You missed the part when he said GRADUALLY or are you willfully shilling as always?

to cut 1 trillion in the first year
would that be possible?

No, because Congress has to pass the budget...and they would NEVER pass that...NEVER.

Look at them trying to cut a tiny bit from the budget last year...they couldn't even do that.

He is not vowing, he said it is in his (spending/budget) plan. Nobody can guarantee the actions of over 400 house members especially when some of them will be changing this year as well.

In my opinion, it is very possible, depends how much of the American population Ron can get on his side.

The president can do alot with that veto pen. They've given the President a LOT of power and Paul can turn the tables on them - he can also bring the troops home from overseas and then Congress can defend why their spending hundreds of billions of overseas bases manned by dust devils...

I don't really get how RP can talk about cutting overseas spending and the point just gets ignored by all the other candidates. Is it because they can't argue with it?

never say never

If Ron Paul is president he has the loudest voice in the U.S.
He can have state of the union addresses and talk about how it MUST be cut!

And talk about how he's a constitutional president, so the people need to go see their local representatives

so yes it is possible, just not guaranteed

Thanks, thats not too bad since the disparity is obviously Santorums fault for challenging everyone but Paul. Paul should have said - he doesn't challenge me on this because I've ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST IT.

Ron Paul may stutter on a point now and then

But none of those lackies have as much exp as RP

He'll be fine if given equal time to speak

They believe we want to be at constant war.

Why isn't it an issue in a debate that Newt Gingrich was out campaigning and giving speeches about family values and the sanctity of marriage, at the same time he was asking his 2nd wife if he could have an affair and an "open marriage" (whatever the fock that is)?

If we was running as the swinger candidate with the backing of Larry Flint, it wouldn't be an issue. It goes to the core of who the man is. He's a complete hypocritical fraud.
