The creation of the internet and subsequent sprawl of mass communication has brought humanity to the forefront of a realm of possibility; the greatest of which is a spectacular renascence of idea’s not experienced in our history. Until the last decade, the majority of America has been subject to a corporate controlled media that has stemmed the growth of the collective creative conscious that is needed to move the monstrous organism that is society into the light. The corporate media’s grips of control over content, and the parent-like censorship of real news pertaining to anything relevant in our lives have plagued the airwaves for far too long. For many years, people have been dumbed down by the television, and misled by the big boy’s of media. But then there was the internet, the system of unregulated interconnectivity that has enabled individuals, and provided the ability to spread enlightening ideas. Unfortunately, the establishment is threatening to dismantle our greatest source of free information. The congressional bills SOPA and PIPA undermine our need and our desires for information and knowledge. The supporter’s of this bill are sick and tired of the useless citizens waking up to reality. It is up to us to stop them in their tracks.
If you allow government into an arena of thought, that arena is almost always constrained of movement, and eventually all thought is diminished of its creativity, and truth. The lights go out. Government, historically, has always been determined to govern of all that which can be governed. The internet is not meant to be manipulated, and controlled. It provides the platform for free thought, which helps to spark the flames of creativity and ideas. Without the internet, my love of knowledge would have been nonexistent. Sites like abovetopsecret.com provide ample opportunity to delve deep into the abyss of information that is often unspoken of in common life. If we allow people to act as gatekeepers and to regulate our behavior on the internet, we are doomed to another dark age. An age, where the majority of information you’re allowed is that which is approved by government and corporations.
The supposed purpose of SOPA and PIPA is to stop the dissemination of copyrighted materials. Anyone with a brain can see that the fascists who steer this nation are gearing up for an all out assault on our freedom of speech. Their real goal is to curtail access to websites that provide information that they deem unacceptable to the fulfillment of their agenda. Please, everybody contact your representatives and senators and voice your opinions. Help deliver a blow to the establishment. Stop the precedent, before it becomes an uncontrollable reality where we lack the ability to formulate our own thoughts based whatever information we choose. Freedom has to be fought for. Start now.

I can promise you one thing: if anything gets passed that shuts down the internet Occupy Wall Street will look like a child's birthday party.
