I watched it, and I noticed that it wasn't moving (the light from it was pointing straight at us).

Could it be you also saw a Blimp , they have a light at the front .

I could hear was a faint, high-ish pitched hum.

Did it sound anything like this

Can you please explain how the described sighting could NOT be a blimp or a plane? Any research or something you can provide that would discount the apparent stationary lights and the sound?

Just posting "cant be" is as bad as a skeptic posting "cant be". Need more substance to back that stance up!

and im sure you will agree they dont move
as fast as a plane

The video I posted showed a craft (blimp) with flashing lights in the middle , as per your description .
I was just offering a possible candidate for what you saw .

Sorry about the late reply, it was bedtime last night. Here's my super-simple drawing that to most people will probably look just like a plane. Haha but ohwell. I know it wasn't a blimp(:

Imagine.. if it were remote controlled. How it might sound? That's kind of how this was.




Oh and the little circles are lights, obviously the big one is the one that from far away was pointed straight at us. (:

Hopefully you didn't just insert a memory into my brain that wasn't already there, but, I'm pretty sure you're right on that description.. That's why the lights seemed "off" to me. Pretty positive..

Don't know that this will help, but I'd thought I'd mention that another thing that made me discount the "usual plane from the AFB" was the flightpath. Those planes ALWAYS fly the exact same direction over our house, this 'thing' flew perpendicular to their usual flightpaths. Small. White. Quiet. And I swear it WANTED to fly over us. It was almost like it saw us looking at it, and decided to fly towards us. Esp with that bright light aimed at us.. It was so strange.

So.. I'm looking around.. and, maybe I'm crazy (but oh, well, at least I'm where I belong)..

Most of the Google pics look pretty similar to what I saw IMO

I just can't find a video of how they SOUND.. that's what I need. Ha.(:

You say you have military air traffic if that is the case I'd notch it up as a UAV more than likely perhaps you could identify the model This Site has some photos and info.
If it's not one of those there are a lot of UAV's in development searching Google for UAV's in development and smaller company's who are trying to bring products to market may yield results

The odd noise could be explained by the different engines , motors , propellers that UAV's use.
If it's not military it could be something someone made at home there are a lot of hobbyist's out there I'd quite enjoy building one myself.DIY DRONES . COM

yeah Predator Drones are all over the US now Law enforcement is using them to keep an eye on us
