As part of a BBC programme "Stargazing Live" a new planet has been discovered by an Amateur Astronomer

The programme over the last 3 nights has been great - have really enjoyed it...Brian Cox is such an inspiration!!
got a great view of Saturn through my scope early on Tuesday morning!

They were good shows, its a good balance having a comedian (with a degree in mathmatical physics) and prof. brian cox. Although, I was stuggling to understand dara's irrish accent sometimes, he doesn't talk that fast on mock of the week!
