There's a big barrier between Egyptian/Gazan border built by the occupying regime. That barrier continues to exist because Israel demands its existence in response for a peace treaty with Egypt. The barrier was built before the occupying regime withdrew from Gaza.

defense-update.com...

Let's leave the fact that the borders are controlled by Israel, let's talk about the air, and sea. You talk about the Oslo Accord "treaty", but that "treaty" has not been upheld by the occupying regime, note, the treaty demands an end to what some call "colonial expansion". As you can see, the illegal settlements continue and spreading faster. The Treaty was dead within a decade, because within a decade Israel continued building illegal settlements while demanding the opponents to uphold their side of the bargain.

It is an occupation which you refuse to admit, if American borders, sea and air was controlled by a foreign nation, it would be called an occupation. Sovereignty exists when you control your own airspace, borders and sea, non of which is controlled by the Democratically elected government of Palestine.

And I don't find it surprising that you focus on Gaza, as if Gaza is Palestine, refusing to mention the rest of the occupied territories, and the systematic "colonial expansion".

Israeli Apartheid

The supporters of Israeli Apartheid on ATS and everywhere in the world are being backed into a corner.

Just like Israel itself the people who have been sucked into the vortex of pure evil that is the Israeli propaganda machine are being challenged on every one of their false statements about the horrible history of Zionism and the immoral policies of Israel.

Well-educated, well-informed people know that Israel is a terrorist state and indeed that Zionists invented modern Middle Eastern terrorism.

This attack on Gaza has not been condemned by our politicians to the degree that it should have been but politicians are always at least ten years behind public opinion.

What will happen in the US is that politicians will "suddenly" turn against Israel when the public exress their outrage at the Israeli rape, torture and murder of innocent Palestinian people.

In the meantime we should must continue to challenge the false statements of Zionist dupes and to boycott Israeli products.

Thank you for resisting Zionist tyranny.

The truth is that your government is just made up by money.

It is the money that rules.

And the ones who help presidential campaigns are not lending big money for free.

They want political power in return. It's a loop.

What do you think ?

And it's what I think and just discussing here on facts.

Good points.

Don't forget about this:
(not much talk about it)

The Israeli West Bank barrier is a separation barrier (see "Names of the barrier") being constructed by the State of Israel along and within the West Bank. Upon completion, the barrier’s total length will be approximately 760 kilometres (470 mi) (twice the length of the 1949 Armistice Line (Green Line) between the West Bank and Israel)[citation needed]. The barrier is a fence with vehicle-barrier trenches surrounded by an on average 60 metres (200 ft) wide exclusion area (90% of its length), and an 8 metres (26 ft) tall concrete wall (10% of its length).[1] The barrier is built mainly in the West Bank and partly along the 1949 Armistice line, or "Green Line" between Israel and Palestinian West Bank. 12% of the West Bank area is on the Israel side of the barrier.[2]

These numbers from each source aren't a complete match but they do paint a picture.

Funny , youd think they were bright enough to stop trying to kill Israeli people then wouldnt ya?

I mean, if i try to bomb a place, and they wipe your whole operation off the map, sounds like the smart thing to do is to back off

Hmmm.

Israeli forces "crept into the Rafah area and took two citizens to an unknown destination and there is no information on what happened to them."

How did they know where to find them ?

I thought many open and accessible areas exist on that border.

Does Israel have the entire Gaza border completely guarded 24 hours a day ?

Why not "cross" over in an unattended place ?

Unless of course, all Palestinians are nuts.

At least while they are actually in Israel, they can call for help with no phone charges ......

1-800-CALL-GOD (toll free from Israel only, anywhere else, long distance charges may apply !)

[color=cyan]ETA: I thought the "Palestinians" were not real "citizens"

I have followed news of Palestine for years.

Everyday , you hear more Palestinians are killed. More Palestinian homes being wrecked.

More Zionist towns are build.

Even some Arab kings like Qatar and Saudi king support them.

It is 21st century and I don't know how many centuries should pass to learn "we are equal".

Yes, on first glance it seems that any group of virtually powerless people who are being "terrorized" by a much more powerful group of people should just give up.

But when we look back in history and we admire those groups who resisted tyranny and fought back even though the odds were agains them.

The US military named its helicopters after Native American tribes that fought back even though they are out-gunned in virtually every case.

As an example when we hear the name Apache applied to a helicopter we think about a proud people who were not going to have their land taken from them and their culture destroyed without a fight.

Likewise - Iroquois, Comanche, Black Hawk, Sioux, Seneca, Chinook, Cheyenne, Lakota, Creek and Kiowa are all names the US military used for helicopters because they represent the names of people who defended themselves when they could have given up.

The baseball team "the Atlanta Braves" take their name from the proud tradadition of Native Americans who fought for justice.

Washington Redskins
Cleveland Indians
Kansas City Cheifs
Chicago Blackhawks

Many Native Americans feel it is disrespectful to name sports teams and military helicopters after the names of Native nations or elements of Native culture but no one questions the bravery of the Native people in resisting the theft of their land and disrespectful in many ways it may be, we do recognise the determination and pride of Native people.

I really doubt that there will ever be a tream called the Baltimore Jews or the San Diego Zionists because no one admires a group of people who rape, toture and slaughter people weaker than they are.

Well - not in San Francisco but once all the Jews leave Palestine, not because they are kicked out but because they would rather live in Florida, I can imagine the Jerusalem Jihadi of the Eastern Conference.

Hebron Kassam Rockets might have an impact on the All Palestine Basketball League someday, as well.

Maybe you are right. Is there an Israeli team called the Tel Aviv Organ Traders, or the Dimona Death Dealers?

An Israeli strike has killed at least two Palestinians in northern Gaza close to the border, the occupied territory's health ministry said.

"We recovered one martyr and two other people with injuries after the air raid carried out by occupation aircraft in Beit Hanoun," Adham Abu Selmiya, a government official, told the AFP news agency on Wednesday.

One of the injured, who was in critical condition, later succumbed to his wounds.

Palestinian security sources said the raid hit a field used by Hamas.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said the target was "a terrorist squad that was attempting to place an explosive device by the security fence" in the second such incident this year.

She said an Israeli aircraft and the armoured corps had fired at the squad, and the device that they were trying to plant had exploded.

In 2011, there were "approximately 30 such incidents", she said.

The often tense border between the coastal territory and Israel has been calm in recent days, after an increase in rocket fire from Gaza and Israeli attacks in December.

AJE

With all the attentions on Iran , it is best time to continue the program to expel more Palestinians from their lands.

It is just what Israel does.

Except that the land belongs to Israel, not the Palestinians.
