During the recent debate in South Carolina a Twitter poll was taken for debate watchers to voice their opinions on how well they think each candidate did on each question asked.

I find it interesting that according to all Americans who choose to vote on Twitter, the majority of Americans feel Ron Paul had the highest over all outcome. Ron Paul wins in every question, most of the time by large margin. Overall Ron Paul was the CLEAR winner.

Take a good look at this video analysis that aired after the debate

The facts really speak for themselves. If this is a true cross sampling of all Americans and Americans went to the polls today, Ron Paul would be our next President.

Some people feel this must be rigged, that they must have somehow allowed a majority of Ron Paul supporters to vote and thus skew the outcome in Ron's favor. This is silly. You don't ask all of America to show up to vote on twitter then rig the results - especially when the winner is the media perceived underdog who is largely ignored by the media. This would not be self serving and would be akin to cutting off your own foot. As one poster in the youtube comments puts it,

There's No Ron Paul Twitter Fix, There's No hand selected set of Ron people that was allowed to answer on Twitter. That's just STUPID. Every American had the ability to get on Twitter & post their views & that's what they did. This is a sampling of all Americans who voted honestly according to what they heard. Notice how bias the media is. Other than THIS no one is talking about Pauls ratings. They focus on Sant., Ging, Rom. when Paul WON. Thats the Real Fix. Americans voted. they choose Paul - The Electric Rider

Which brings me to my final point. I watched the Hannity show after the debate. The show was broadcast live from the same convention center in Myrtle Beach S.C. that was just used for the debate. Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum were asked to participate in the program. No one spoke the Twitter sampling of Americans that showed Dr. Ron Paul was the overall winner in the debate.

News the next morning shows the same. Everyone talking about Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum but no one talking about who Americans feel was the real winner. Media seems to be putting the focus on Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum and not reporting on Ron Paul by design. Media knows how people will gravitate to the things, people, and issues commonly reported on and tend to forget about the things that are not flooding the networks. This is psychology and the media are masters of it. The media is creating a gauntlet to steer people towards Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum while putting Ron Paul in the blind spot.

The Twitter poll shows Americans are awake and are not going to fall so easily for such tricks. Americans know Ron Paul is their best hope.

peace will not be brought with Ron Paul's election. Dont get me wrong, I agree with him on issues such as the FED. But as far as foreign policy goes, I cant. He said we should try to be friends with Iran, and this is dangerous.

Most Muslim leaders wish to return the middle east into a caliphate. the only country preventing this is Israel, should they succeed in establishing this caliphate, you will see a united middle east, under the banner of radical Islam. armed with the nuclear weapons of Pakistan, and the captured arsenal of Israel.

This is not an attempt at fear mongering on my part, this is the outcome I see when I connect the dots from the public opinions of middle east leaders. And two small groups within a religion who use the term Infidel ( the definition of this word is not derived solely in Islam), to describe those who are not under Allah.

It is my understanding that Paul is not afraid to defend this country if needed against an enemy who threatens The American People or The American way of life. Paul just doesn't think we should be in wars for the wrong reasons of oil games or political gain.

Paul is not known for buying into propaganda. Paul is in a position to see the facts clearly - what really happens in Government not just what's reported on the news. Much of what other Government officials would have us believe about Iran may indeed by propaganda.

Consider this thread on the lies told about Iran. www.abovetopsecret.com...

( You might see a big BLOCKED logo in the thread.. the thread is still there, just scroll down. ATS is using this thread to make a point .)

That said, I do follow and support Bridgette Gabriel's organization Act for America and believe we do face a serious threat from Islam's radical extremists. I also understand that not all Muslims agree with these radical views. You have to separate the radicals from the normal people. The radicals become your enemy and the normal folks become the innocent civilians. These countries in the Middle East are made up of Both factions.

The governments of these countries have not yet been proven to create or enact policy based on these radical views. Until that time happens the U.S. must not treat these countries like enemy combatants. I am sure Paul is aware of the status of these countries and their peoples. I do not believe Paul's use of the word "friends" ( if that was indeed his word) means buddy buddy. I believe Paul means we should treat these countries normally as equals at the negotiating table. As would be fair until such time as a clear enemy in the form of the governments present themselves.

I was watching this last night and thought that was kind of ironic. Of course CNN and Fox didn't report. Kind of what I expected. Seems like he may be gaining a lot of momentum - guess the primary will tell.

Hopefully its not just all us internet savvy youngin's that know how to use twitter. Remember seeing the voting breakdown by age for Iowa and all the dinosaurs that only follow the boobtube and what good ol' CNN tells em voted Romney and Santorum... probably why Paul didn't even get second in Iowa...

How can it be "ignored by the media" and then, as part of your OP, you post of Youtube video of Fox New's coverage of just that?

Just asking?

Go Ron Go!!

The Fox news segment above aired as part of the coverage of the debate, as soon as the debate ended. It was not a separate news account. This is the only segment that I can find that gave Ron Paul's twitter ratings the attention it deserves. This should be Big News talked extensively about by all the news networks. I don't see that happening.
