Is this an American carrier? No way, they have many on board fire suppression systems.

Text1/17/2012 -- US Aircraft carrier nuclear accident -- ON FIRE AND SINKS -- NEEDS VERIFICATION NOW! This needs verification NOW! This video shows shots of a united states super carrier on fire and then sinking... *unverified as of 200pm cst 1/17/2012* --- is this fake? If it is NOT fake..... if its real.....then several thousand people died . Supposed to have taken place in the Indian Ocean. Uploaded to youtube today-- jan. 17, 2012 under this title: " US NUKE CARRIER ACCIDENT (LEAKED) "

I subscribe so received the above with a link to the video - started watching it and there sure is a ship on fire (Big Time) but now I've lost it.

Comments on the youtube channel seem to indicate it was an old carrier sunk in the Gulf of Mexico.

Being a former sailor I will back your statement. Not only do they have systems installed but also firemen. If a USN ship was on fire I wouldn't worry to much. They got it under control, but then again, anything is possible.

Don't know if anyone can get this - I can't sorry.

Clearly something big happened or it's fake which would explain it's removal.

I really don't know

If that's the ship then we have problems. What happened there? I didn't recognize a ship till the end of video. At first it looked like an island was on fire with huge plumes of black smoke pouring from it. And then it sinks? I really hope this video is bull#.

The entire ships crew are firefighters.
No one gets on board without being trained in ship board fire fighting.
And for those that work flight/hanger decks they get extra training for aircraft firefighting.
