I have never watched the show, but what I heard was in fact an overwhelming sound. This has been going on for months now, it is not a new 'fad', only it's just picking up speed here on ATS. Most of the videos on StealthyKat's threads were hers, recorded by her in her yard, last fall. She lives only about 100 miles from me.

So, what if these sounds are a combination of ELF and Earthpulse technology to affect how people think, feel, and act? Our governments could use this combined technology to tweak our brainwaves so that we're more susceptible to suggestion?

The main question we need to be asking right now is: How did these sounds make the listener feel? Did they begin to feel tired or sleepy? Did they begin to feel anxious? Did these feelings remain after the sound stopped or did they mysteriously fade? Did anyone report feeling ill after hearing the sound?

Very good questions being asked in this thread. Also, very scary to think that our government might use an "alien technology" (my words) to subliminally communicate with everyone on the planet. It would be a different story if they had our best interest at heart!

I wouldn't be surprised if aliens told our governments they would do this on a certain date, and now we are in a race to submit "our side" of the information first.

The sounds I heard caused a very visceral reaction, 'fight-or-flight' , acceleration of heartbeats and real fear that 'something' was about to show itself. I wasn't sick or tired or sleepy afterward, just awed.

Thanks for answering my questions about how you felt during and after the sound. I believe I would've probably reacted the same way you did and fall somewhere in between fight and flight. Maybe this is meant to confuse our animalistic intuitions even further?

We'll have to wait and see if others tell us if they had similar or different feelings and impulses when they heard the sound. It would be great to get a nice tally of everyone's input.

Some of these sounds remind me of the slowed down version of the Bloop.

Bloop:

The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency and extremely powerful underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown.

I can relate to the fight or flight response, just read my signature link for my story with this, and this was in 2001 by the way. I will not forget that experience...I have been studying this phenomena since. I do believe this is evidence of emotion manipulation technology/weather manipulation.......and I think it originates from ET. Here are some links about the effects of music on emotion and thinking: www.angelfire.com...
www.theosociety.org...

This link is from a google translation of a book from Salvatore Freixedo. I suggest all interested in ufos to look into him, obscure, but very interesting: Waves from the brain

in a audio point of view those "creepy trumpet" sounds can easily be created with a synthesizer and a audio editing program, record a high pith note (lets say a violin for an example), pass it on some morphing filters and granular delay, saturate the wave, timestretch it and voilá u get the trumpety sound...

try to reverse the OP video and high pitch it... and you will hear clearly some familiar sounds that are reversed some of them are even voices or just plain synthesizer notes but when you apply something like paul stretcher audio tool on the .wav it really creates some cool effects... i tried myself and i think i got pretty close from those sounds...

Now im not saying that all sounds are *fake* i will never say that but i must confess most of the videos are just audio manipulation and not a viral propaganda... it just generates hits on youtube...thats my point of view

I first came across these videos about 2 weeks ago and instantly was intrigued. This lead me to ATS and have been reading these threads non-stop. At first I admit i was captured by the thought of some incredible noise that everyone seemed to be hearing and thought it to be some sort of ET or a prelude of things to come. After reading about 60 pages of different threads i came across one on ATS that made a very compelling argument that all these videos are just a viral campaign for a new Mass Effect game. I remember a similar situation with a Colossus game on PS2 when they used fake news reports to bolster attention. If you compare the sound effects of the Alien ships in the game to that in the videos, to the ear they sound identical. I also have a concern if anyone has looked into the frequency of these sounds with respect to the resonating frequency that would be bouncing off different objects in the landscape (buildings and such)? In the video filmed in Alberta i was surprised not to hear any sort of echo considering the open landscape and sheer volume of this sound.

Reading the entire thread, I'm still fairly sceptical if this is real or not.
The sound does remind me of a metal bow of a big ship grinding the docks, but then elongated.

But if it IS real my best guess would be some new Stealth-technology.
If it turns out to be fake, I would have to give my respect to the people that created it, it scares the *** out of me.

Well I dont know what the sounds are ofcourse, and maybe some videos are related to ME3, time will tell, but there are some videos that have the sound and the backup of real people hearing.. For instance i have talked to people in Costa Rica that had actually heard the sounds.. And we have on this thread also alot of people experienced it in real life..

I see your point that people have come forward on ATS and claimed to have heard these sounds but I am a little wary because of the lack of national media attention. All i have been able to find are a few local newspapers and a news report from the UK. I would think that if these sounds were truly heard by all of these people there would be something in the major media. I understand that "the powers that go unseen" may be trying to down play something of this magnitude but i would think the growing awareness of these sounds and people going to police to either report them or ask questions would be overwhelming and undeniable.

Now, this means a lot, because if people do not believe this kind of technology is possible, or that it is science fiction, those people put themselves in great jeopardy, because on the night when those thousand stars will shine from space, during the night when the new messiah will be presented to the world, they will not be prepared and will have no time to prepare to save themselves against that kind of technology. They don’t believe and they won’t take time to prepare.

Now that is plain wrong. Castigate people for not being prepared and then fail to give any advice on how they should be prepared. Never fear though, here is the only link you'll ever need:

How to prepare

lol, this is just what I need, if I had been wearing their "Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie" I wouldn't have heard the sounds.

Sorry, it's just that there are many who seem to come to ATS lately that only want to shoot down the members who are adding substantial research information as a way to discredit them and what they're posting. It's really becoming a jungle on here.

I would like to hear it myself, but I have yet to. There was a video from Florida I saw a couple of months ago that was real. The person who was video taping even called her kids in and you could hear someone in the background calling 911 asking if anyone had called in about a tornado in their area. The sound was deafening in the video, then it faded and you could hear the rain falling.

The part that has me convinced that this may be Project Blue Beam is because it seems as though everyone is being conditioned to videotape the sky. Once the holograms start, many people will already be prepared to tape whatever image is accompanying the noise.

I'll see if I can locate the Florida video. It's pretty freaky and I'm positive that it's not a hoax.

I agree this video is genuine. But the sounds are at a distance.

I believe I put it this way in StealthyKat's thread: " I couldn't decide whether to run and hide or just stand still and pee my pants while waiting for 'it' to come down and get me".

The sounds I heard caused a very visceral reaction, 'fight-or-flight' , acceleration of heartbeats and real fear that 'something' was about to show itself. I wasn't sick or tired or sleepy afterward, just awed.

I second this to a tee. When this sound woke me up it was immediate high alert - my brain was frantically trying to get a grasp of it, to understand the sound enough to know whether or not it was a threat. Eventually my curiosity took over but the heart pounding-ness of it all never went away.

-- And everyone talking about aliens or god or the government communicating via the sky - well this concept freaks me out the most because honestly, if there were an invasion, or a giant voice coming out of the sky, I honestly don't think I would be able to take it seriously. The government needs to stop lying so we know when something is real.

A couple of us have already posted on this on this thread:

ALOSTSOUL posted a link to this youtube interview of a sound designer who created “Mass Effect 3, The Sound of the Reaper”
Most of the sound effects do not sound like anything I remember, but at the 3:11 point there’s something that sounds close to
the sound used in the “Kiev” clip. It’s a very quick bit.

www.youtube.com...

Clearly, some of the clips are hoaxes in the video posted by ChachiArcola on page 1 of this thread.
The soundtrack used for the “Chicago” clip & the “Kiev” clip are the same, but at different volumes.
The sound does not match either location.

I suspect the sound was recorded in a tropical area, maybe Mexico or Costa Rica.

The much louder soundtrack used for the “Kiev” clip is what triggered my memory of the weird sounds I heard a couple of weeks ago.

I work around sub-station transformers everyday and to say the sounds in the video are coming from transformers (like in the article) is ridiculous. Most of the newer ones don't make very much noise at all. If they do make sounds it is more like a buzz than a humm.

That's a good verbal description: "a metal bow of a big ship grinding the docks, but then elongated."

There's that hollow metallic sound, but it's not the whole sound. It felt like a jet was stationary over my house.
It sounded like HUGE machinery the likes of which I have never heard before. None of the videos can do justice to the penetrating quality of the sound.

I may not be able to convince anyone else there's something real going on, but I know something strange & real is happening.

I added this to another thread, so I figured I'd add here, too, since I find it so significant.

According to this site I've referred to already: 100777.com...
(hit refresh after it loads and the text won't be blacked out)

The first step in the NASA Blue Beam Project concerns the breakdown of all archaeological knowledge. It deals with the set-up with artificially created earthquakes at certain precise locations on the planet where, supposedly, new discoveries will finally explain to all people the error of all fundamental religious doctrines. The falsification of this information will be used to make all nations believe that their religious doctrines have been misunderstood for centuries and misinterpreted. Psychological preparations for that first step have already been implemented with the film, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey;’ the StarTrek series, and ‘Independence Day;’ all of which deal with invasions from space and the coming together of all nations to repel the invaders. The last films, ‘Jurrassic Park,’ deals with the theories of evolution, and claim God's words are lies.

What is important to understand in the first step is that those earthquakes will hit at different parts of the world where scientific and archaeological teachings have indicated that arcane mysteries have been buried. By those types of earthquakes, it will be possible for scientists to rediscover those arcane mysteries which will be used to discredit all fundamental religious doctrines.
This is the first preparation for the plan for humanity because what they want to do is destroy the beliefs of all Christians and Muslims on the planet. To do that, they need some false ‘proof’ from the far past that will prove to all nations that their religions have all been misinterpreted and misunderstood.

According to the many reports we have received, we believe it will begin with some kind of worldwide economic disaster. Not a complete crash, but enough to allow them to introduce some kind of in-between currency before they introduce their electronic cash to replace all paper or plastic money.
The in-between currency will be used to force anyone with savings to spend or turn in their cash because they understand that people who have money and are not dependent upon them might be the very ones who will mount an insurrection against them. If everyone is broke, no one can fund a war of any kind: paper currency will cease to exist. This is one of the first signs.
But to implement the worldwide electronic money system, everyone in the world who might have money in the future, will have to have a way to transfer money electronically. Before that time, everyone will have spent, before the year 2,000, all of their cash, reserves and assets. Everyone has to be 100% dependent upon the Council for their existence.
To prevent any kind of independence, the new world order has already implanted micro chips in wild animals, birds, fish, etc. Why? They want to make certain that the people who will not accept the new world order will not be able to hunt or fish any where in the world. If they try, they will be tracked and traced by satellites, then hunted down and imprisoned or killed.

So, as it states above, we are experiencing earthquakes, economic problems, and mass animals deaths. I don't know about chips being in the wildlife, but with the Fukushima disaster polluting fish and wildlife as well as the mass die offs, things seem to be in line with what they're speaking about on the website referenced above.

It's really strange that now we're hearing these strange sky sounds after the other three pieces have fallen into place.

Also, if infra-sound is capable of causing heart attacks and such, I'm sure it would be possible to kill off mass amounts of fish and birds using the very low frequencies that people aren't able to hear. This is also described in the website and states that this technology doesn't have to be heard in order to cause someone's heart to stop.

I've got to tell you, Afterthought, that the basic premise of Project Bluebeam (that TPTB can use advanced, esoteric technology to control the masses) is not too far-fetched for me.
But I am NOT a Fundamentalist Christian.

I'm more aligned with Zecharia Sitchin and Joseph P. Farrell.

But that doesn't mean I automatically reject ALL the ideas outlined by Project Bluebeam. Some of them ring true to me. I think the economic crisis was designed to herd us in a particular direction. TPTB are all about greed & control.
