Sounds like a complicated job. I failed the test. Lol I wonder what the test is for disinformation agents?

I took it, thought it was pretty cool too, and did well. I like that stuff but don't live there so can't apply.

Ah damn. hey if you went well, there's always your country's Intelligence Agency you could apply for

Even if i did get top score I wouldn't want to work in intelligence. I would imagine that there is a good reason that the CIA is only topped by the Post Office in terms of alcoholism and suicide in US government agencies

I got a 7 .. says I should apply, I don't know how my government would feel about me applying to be a British spy...

(I did notice in the open positions that the entry level intelligence jobs only paid 24,000 pounds a year.. that seem kind of low doesn't it?)

Yeah im an American, so I cant apply either

I don't think I'll apply. From what I've learned of intelligence services, they are big on balls but "intelligence" has little to do with the way they operate.

No thank you.

Fun exercise tho. Thanks OP.

If you guys REALLY want to be spies, Mossad is hiring too; and they don't care what nationality you are.

If anyone wants to be a real spy for the USA government: www.cia.gov...

Much better pay.

This is a link to an application for the Clandestine Service Trainee Program.

www.cia.gov...

A link to all open positions (there's tons)

I still think the NSA gets to have all the fun though.

Yeah...im well aware of who all is hiring....and who all has my apps.

Good to have some networking going on too
when it comes to obtaining jobs in these agencies....lots of jobs are not even listed....

True, a lot of jobs are not listed. I think a lot of them are probably grouped into other positions, when you apply and you're qualified for a non-listed job they will probably tell you. I have one year left on my bach degree in Graphic Design and I saw there was an opening for a designer/web developer.. looked at it .. at the bottom it advises to use discretion in applying when discussing with family and friends lol..????

So weird.

More jobs: NSA (where the fun is) is the largest employer of any government agency in the world.

www.nsa.gov...

You'll notice none of the cool jobs are listed. But then again .. they are not supposed to exist. We aren't even supposed to know about the NSA, what they do or how they do it. They usually approach college students on their own to fill vacancies.

Wow, got an 8 too, but will not be applying, I'd rather not work for a Government that I can't stand.

Hunting intelligence on "terrorists"
Watch out American Citizens, we're gonna tell Obama on you

haha nice...my true dream job would be in intel...but id like to be a case manager more than an analyst...i scored 7...I apply to the CIA usually once every year or 2 but never hear back...ive applied for MICECP too which is another US based intel group through the army...but was rejected...I still keep the rejection letter on my fridge. I have a pretty good resume with decent experience too...it aint easy getting into these fields, but good luck for all who try..and pm me if you are hiring!

And fun thread thx for posting.

I need a job that involves consuming mass quantities of media, because that's what I do.
I'm an info junkie. T-total junkie.

I received a 7 as well. It was a fun exercise, but I don't live in the UK.

Not interested in being a spook, though....for the US or any other country.
