A retired Montreal police officer tried to sell a list of informants to the Mafia, according to information obtained by Radio-Canada.

After his retirement in January, the officer tried to sell the list for a six-figure sum.

Police said he was one of only two or three people who had access to the list.


What happened to honesty and integrity ?

But boy, that is a seriously dirty and rotten thing for a cop to do. Whatever happens to him, he has that and more coming....

Even if it's not a very popular thread, update....

The police man was found dead in a motel, and it looks like a suicide.
