It was a solid answer consistent with his anti-statism, anti-government force ideology. Does that mean when he gets into office, taxes will be spontaneously & instantaneously abolished??

Given the ridiculous - and completely wasteful - degree to which government has grown and spending increased, it is feasible to cut government waste and spending to a sufficient degree to obviate the 40% or so of government spending/income the income tax accounts for. I believe back in 2007/2008, it would require a cut in spending back to '99 levels.
