Answering 0% was a poor answer for Paul.

This is why people say he is extreme and unrealistic. Everyone knows we aren't going down to 0% income tax...and this will just be fodder for headlines to show how out of touch from reality Ron Paul is.

Not if you stop all the wasteful spending! Who's out of touch?

It was a solid answer consistent with his anti-statism, anti-government force ideology. Does that mean when he gets into office, taxes will be spontaneously & instantaneously abolished??

Or you just lack imagination (and historical context)

Last time i checked there was freedom of speech in this country and the freedom to support whoever and whatever they want.

Does not make them brainwashed.

I'm guessing Paul's 3rd question (er attack) by Fox is at 56 minutes.

And yes it can work. With tariffs on imports. That's how the government funded itself for 100+ years.

But we COULD, is the point. Given the ridiculous - and completely wasteful - degree to which government has grown and spending increased, it is feasible to cut government waste and spending to a sufficient degree to obviate the 40% or so of government spending/income the income tax accounts for. I believe back in 2007/2008, it would require a cut in spending back to '99 levels.

Terrible, I know...

Oh my... did they just loft a softball to Paul on the drug/incarceration issue?

Or is this a setup to bring up his "kooky" anti-drug war position?

Ron Paul: Another great answer! He would make an excellent president! He knows his history, and he knows it also repeats itself. If he's elected, I believe he will change that.

Wait... a Ron Paul setup by Juan

Paul doesn't bite - changes it to the 40000+ murders in Mexico. Claims MLK would be in agreement with him on the Drug War and the wars abroad.

They didn't say four times as likely to be charged with drug use...they are saying the penalites are stiffer when they are charged compared to whites.

I don't think you understand what they were saying.
