What were you in a past life?

Ah, i kinda understand. So its a faint memory, but could this memory be influenced by something like TV?? im not saying i don't believe just trying to get a basic understanding of how one remembers thats all.

i guessed you didn't understand what i tried to convey...
you know of it before you learned of it. Before you were exposed to it on tv, books, whatever, you already had the image or thought in your head...like i said only speaking for myself.

Oh i see like, for example, being able to have great knowledge of a town without going to there?

Some times when I watch a movie, I will get "chills" down my spine, as if I was there or that it really happened to me too.. Maybe so Deja-Vu.

Most occurs in Samuri movies or war movies. Maybe I died in battle?

mmm....i would have to say no. Films which involve battles,war,etc have so much emotion in them that it effects the audience. I could say that every time i watch a horror film i get chills when someone dies, does that mean i was killed by a stereotypical teen flick serial killer?

Its a dream I have had many times, and I believe its a past life. I am tudor lady. quite aloof. I loved only one person, I guess you would call him my soulmate. We are quite well off, he is a merchant. I remember looking though a leaded window towards a river. The sun shines through the glass and I am joyously happy.
Whenever I have that dream, I am torn between happiness and sadness. Happiness because the dream is so wonderful, but sadness that I am no longer 'there'.

From what I have gathered I was probably:

An early Cold War-era Russian Scientist, in one of the research cities.

A Celtic warrior-poet, fighting the Romans.

A ninja in feudal Japan.

A monk in China durring the wars between the Wu clan and the Nanman.

A Pagan priest living in the British Midlands durring the middle ages.

I think that's about all I can remember.

I believe i was a German Nazi in a past life....

And dont call me racist coz i am totally against racism.


Oh yeah and also...in another life...I think i was a blonde chick. Coz in all my dreams that i've had, when i'm a girl in them, i've always been the same blonde chick.

Well, funnily enough I used to have dreams of what looked like the future when I was a very small child, always the same, it takes to long to explain but in short me and some of my family were transported onto a spaceship and taken to this place with this amazing lake, I always remember the lake; then I knew we had to leave because the place was going to be destroyed...I haven't had the dream in years, but a few months ago I did again, after I'd completly forgot it existed.

Past lives and de ja vu are really interesting and Id like to put another spin on it, as crazy as this may seem.

There are two main ideas about past lives. One is that we have actually lived them and what we can recollect did actually happen to us in an earlier existance. The other is pretty out there but is supported by the bible, book of enoch and other early biblical texts. Its this second idea Id like to mention regarding past lives.

In Genesis it speaks of the "sons of god" seeing the beauty of women and falling to earth and marrying them then having offspring of giant reportions. These fallen ones, nephlim or watchers were punished for leaving their first estate (this is recorded in Jude in the Bible and in the Book of Giants and Enoch). Even the place where they fell in Isreal is named in Hebrew as "the place of the those that fell to earth from heaven"

These watchers were supposed to watch over and protect mankind but decided in fall to earth and join them, teach them the secrets of heaven , everything from astrology to magic to advanced war fare. Ok so your wondering where the hell am I going with this in connection with past lives? Im coming to it now.

Could it be that all the ancient stories of old, about Giants and heros, sons of the Gods, like hercules, could these stories actually be based on some measure of fact and not total myth? It is recorded that the fallen ones became kings on earth, fathered Giants and divided the land, built massive cities, spread knowledge and advanced man with secrets from heaven.

Unfortunitly things didnt work out as man become corrupted by his new found knowledge and evil spread on the earth. It must be noted that mans life span was much longer then, up to 500 years and more, and these giants lived even longer as they were a cross between women and angel/watcher. God saw the earth was full of evil and flooded it killing most of the giants (some crop up later in the bible, there size is compared to man being the size of a locust in their sight, and the Hebrews killed them off) and punished the watchers who fell by imprisoning them in the darkest depth of hell.

Now finally to the past live thing. The watchers where spirtual beings were dealt with, but what of the Giants? There were posisibly many of them alive before the flood, when they died there flesh returned to the earth BUT they were not compeltely human nor compeltely angel. They didnt posses the SOUL of a human being. They only had a corrupt evil spirit. The book of enoch records that the spirits of the giants, there future fate was to roam the earth, and there punishment was to literally haunt mankind right up until the final judgement. These evil spirts are the departed spirits of Giants before the flood, and they crave a human body, and often possess people to utilize the lust of the flesh. They are like their fathers, the sons of the gods who originally fell to earth to enjoy life in the flesh. So my point is that could it be that these spirits which haunt the earth and people, could they be the cause of believe in past lives? As they are spirits and will live on earth until judgment day, they could inhabit the bodies of thousands of people and thus cause the current person to believe or have thoughts from an earlier existance which the spirit has brought with it.

Alot of mediums actually talk to evil spirits, they can tell you intimate details of a persons life, mainly due to the fact that they have been around or literally in them for some part of there lives.

Let me know what you think and dont rule it out before reading a bit about it

That's an interesting theory, especially since the Book of Enoch is not in the Christian Bible. Seems almost like a past lives conspiracy thing.

If I did have a past life I would have probably been German or Belgian or both. My mom said when I was little I always talked about Germany and Belgium as if I were there once, even though I never was. Also like "Renaissanceyish" stuff I've always felt a connection to. The first time they took me to Disney World I knew my way around too, so maybe I was Mickey Mouse in a past life. Actually, I think that might have something to do with my mom going there when she was pregnant with me. I know it sound crazy, but I could have just been a freakier kid than I thought I was.

Well for one thing it explains where evil spirits come from seeing as they cant be accounted for any other way. Fallen Angels are not evil spirits.

Its actually interesting researching Giants and the Sons of God. Firstly to explain the flood, we always think that man just got really evil and God wiped him out, but there was strong outside influence other than man that lead to the corruption of the earth. This gets to amazing proportions when considering the idea that Satan could have attempted to totally corrupt the human seed line, thus stopping the birth of the Messiah who would crush the Devil as was told to him in the Garden of Eden after the fall ("the womens seeds will crush your head"). By polluting the earth with sub human angelic people the chances of the birth of a Godman like the messiah would be impossible. Its like Angelic genetic engineering! Could also account for some of the myths of other monsters and creatures, half human and half animal, if the fallen angels breed with animals too. Was the Sphynx actually alive once? Was the statue made in Egypt based on a live creatue that actually lived??

Finally it bares heavy thinking about when considering the words of Jesus Christ on the end of the age, that it would be just like Noahs day.

So next time you get hit on in a bar or club ladies, check for wings or horns

And does any religion which believes in reincarnation influenced by evil spirits?

I had a very VIVID dream when I was young.
I was a soldier in a long red coat defending a fort
of some kind.
I'm not sure what war it was, but I got shot and
died. Then I woke up.
I think it may have been the revolutionary war?

Anyhoo, here's an intersting article I found about
a 6 year old boy who remembers being a fighter
pilot in world war II.

I think my past lives were being a soldier during world war 2 thats one of the only times periods i have always been interested in and like to study and 1700's or 1800'sjapan.
