To the Ron Paul Election Committee! Listen up.

This should be part of the Ron Paul platform. This simple idea can be expanded upon, refined, but it doesn't need much of either.

The problem:
Labor is getting screwed in this country. Workers cannot make a living wage, but Wall Street brokerage and investment bank employees are expanding the prostitution industry. So, to prevent the possibility that your child may have to consider prostitution, what do we do?
First, we have to understand the problem. We have to understand "globalism"....

Why would our "benevolent" leaders push globalism? They said it would be good for the economy. Of course, we should all understand that was a big lie, pushed by Democrat and Republican alike. So, what was the fatal flaw in globalism?

The answer is this. Our businesses have to compete with overseas businesses that have NO LABOR STANDARDS! They don't have to pay a LIVING WAGE. They can force them to work 7 DAYS A WEEK.

So, where does that put US in a "global economy"? You may have guessed it Right there with the Chinese laborer, or other third world country.
And, you should understand, that is the INTENT of the global economy as it is practiced by our OLIGARCHS.

So, what do we do? Ron Paul, listen up.

WE WILL NOT IMPORT GOODS THAT COME FROM BUSINESSES THAT DO NOT MEET U.S. LABOR STANDARDS!
This is not a free ticket, however, for organized labor to make unreasonable demands. The U.S. Labor Standards cannot be UNION ONLY bull #. The platform has to be clear what these standards are, and ORGANIZED LABOR bosses have to understand WHY they are losing the battle. If they don't, then the people that make up these unions need to understand that perhaps they DON'T NEED THIS UNION. They just need fair labor practices and a level playing field.

This is a simple and fair step that the Ron Paul camp should jump into with both feet.

I like his idea of stopping importation of cheap forced labor crap, and instead focusing on bringing production back to the United States where it belongs.

Who would oversee a working standard in China or Taiwan anyway.. Oh, I know....another easily bought off government agency

Made in America or we don't need it. Not saying that we can't import, but only the goods/products we do not make in the USA. If we need it, I'm sure we can manufacture it right here in the US. We used to be known for making the best stuff around...now we use iPhones with parts made in China and fungicide infested orange juice the FDA won't pull from the shelves from Brazil, when Florida is the largest supplier of OJ in the US. China is cheaper and Brazil just gets an extra check from us so we can keep them in pocket....meanwhile Brazil's economy is booming and I'm waiting on the first illness to be reported behind the contaminated OJ.

This is all so insane!

Everybody would have a job whether it is a white or blue collar job or something else. There's plenty of work for everybody if we get started back here at home. To top that off, we have closed down facilities/factories just waiting to get started back up.

Ron Paul knows what's up!

I think you're making the common misconception that Unions (Organized Labor) represent the common working man. Unions, at least in their current iteration, are concerned with one thing: eliminating competition in the workforce, ensuring that only Union members (who PAY Union dues) can get any work. They buy off government officials just like their alter egos, corporations, who seek to eliminate competition in the products/services market.

In a free society, people have a right to organize and petition their employers for better wages and standards, but not to use government force to strong-arm the labor market. I can't see Ron Paul and Big Labor being on the same side any time in the near future.

Now if you're talking about Ron Paul getting the average working man vote, then I think you're onto something.

This makes PERFECT sense.

Our ONLY hope for this type of change is Ron Paul. The other TYPICAL BASTARD politicians will keep things going against the American worker and people. Our children and grandchildren are screwed badly if things do not change folks!
