Obama elected 11 Goldman Sachs employees to his Administration. He renewed the Patriot Act, kept Guantanamo Bay up and running after saying that he would close it down, and signed the NDAA into law recently which had a ryder slipped in that allows the military to act as a police force on American soil and indefinitely imprison American citizens without a charge or trial. On top of those Constitutional violations, he also disregards the Constitutional process of going to war, and instead gets his authority from the UN.

He's a corrupt teleprompter reader who he doesn't follow the Constitution. Why exactly do people support this guy again?

It was impossible for Barry to live up to the hype of his campaign. They placed him on this pedestal and pretty much claimed he was the savior of the U.S. Factor in the renewal of the Patriot Act, The wallstreet bailouts, Obamacare and even the additional trillion he asked for yesterday are all simply nails in his coffin. Someone needs to stop this madman before he destroys this side of the planet.

Now everyone is going to shout "Ron Paul" And i'll admit, I like the guy, but aren't we placing him on the same pedestal as Obama ? He's no savior, just a politician....

Instead of saying Obama has done this or Bush jr did that you should say The Owners of this country instructed Obama to do this and ordered Bush Jr to do that

Were not even close to the presidential election and i am already sick of the political threads here on ATS.

Ron paul, obama, romney. These people really mean nothing if you look at the big picture. I cant believe that people still believe that one person is responsible for the situation we find ourselves in today. The president means NOTHING! How it is not understood even with the wealth of knowledge on this site is beyond me.

Any person who is blaming one person for everything (clinton, bush or obama) has no real clue what is going on. Maybe you should do some research instead of spewing the same typical mainstream political propaganda.

This thread is about our current president, his administration and the damage it's caused since he took office with all pro/against/neutral stances and comments welcome. Although, I did mention a little about how I don't dig Bush Jr either...The Federal reserve and big banks Obama panders to where also briefly mentioned. While I agree that there are elements in the background of our government pulling strings, this thread isn't really delving too far in to the conspiracy aspect of government. It is an election year, this is why the thread was placed in the "election 2012" category. I do apologize that this thread is unsatisfactory to your liking, however.

Lol well if I presented my solution...First I would say people should first be aware of the situation we are in so that we all make the right choices as a nation to put a stop to all of the corruption, personal liberties being stripped and un-ending debt we are spiraling into. Then, I would point out that there *are* individuals who have seen these things, predicted market crashes, spoke of the big banks and federal reserve who are really behind mostly everything corrupt, including our media. They have testified to these things before congress but no-one in congress listened because they were all paid off by lobbyists. There are honest people (in govt) left in this world (and I'm not JUST talking about Ron Paul, but he just so happens to be the only honest one left on the ballot) who have been making this case for years and it's time we pay attention.

Any and all solutions are welcome, however. This is just my opinion.

Bush wasn't a fascist and neither is Obama. Reason I say that is because Fascism is when government rules corporations with an iron fist and no other opinions are allowed. Under both men, corporations ruled the government and many opinions were allowed. What this has been is far more a state of corporate feudalism bound to a few laws and with no true means to route out dissent. Truly, just the great American experiment gone wrong for a period of time.

Bush was a puppet to his owners, Obama is a dictator to the men he owns, but not to the people.

It's not yet fascism.
