Hmm I would say yes. Did you see his smile? That's how Romney gets so far as well. In fact when the final debates are near I have reasons to believe that if it is just Romney and Obama there won't be any talking. Only smiles and winks.

I hear some people just want Ron Paul to go to the end because they'll hear talking. Well they call it "intellectually speaking" whatever that is supposed to mean.

I agree Obama is a power hungry liar and sellout like the rest of em, however, it's not like Romney will be any better and there's a good chance he'll be worse, he seems like quite the rich little elitist pig. So, we're screwed either way till this country, and it's leaders, change fundamentally. Which, unfortunately, seems impossible at this point. Rich corporations and other interests like that simply have rooted themselves too deeply in the govt and the election process.

Furthermore, the stupid 2 red vs blue party system keeps silly Americans in perpetual pointless arguments where no real big change can happen and the rich and powerful just laugh quietly to themselves as they watch us fight amongst ourselves. Plus the govt now has the means; the weapons and the Patriot Act type bills, to squash any form of rebellion before it begins.

Writing in votes that won't amount to anything and will probably just be mocked by the douchebag media, protesting, etc won't do anything at this point. Just look how the media spit all over OWS, probably the biggest national protest in ages and nothing has come of it. Regardless of how you feel about the particular complaints of OWS, it at least showed some of the little men in this country are pretty pissed, and yet it didn't matter because the big men have successfully stolen all the power and wealth and can easily warp public opinion to their side through complete mainstream media (which is unfortunately where like 90% of Americans get all their opinions/beliefs from) control.

Just FYI everyone, I know Ron Paul is a hot topic (if not THE hot topic) on ATS and many of us are very strong in our opinions about his ideas. While I'm in agreement, let's try to stay on the topic of Obama and his policies pro and against.

This discussion will be on going all the way to November and I plan to add to this discussion whenever possible. With that said, thanks to everyone who has participated in this thread so far, and thanks for the good input! (Please feel free to keep adding!) As for me, I'm off to bed, but you better believe I'll be back to add to this.

I doubt he could be worse than Obama personally, at the very least I can count on him not raising my taxes (thanks Obama, I really wanted to pay an extra $700, ass)

Just because you're against Obama, does not mean you have to support the Neocon alternative. Though, it wouldn't matter much if you did, you'd get the same damn thing.

In 2008 the Republicans lost in a landslide turnout. They didn't win because there are more Democrats than Republicans, or that the candidates Democrats offered were so much better.. they lost, by such a massive amount .. because Republican voters purposefully sabotaged their own party.

And we will do it again in 2012. We will show the Party through a massive loss what we think of them ramming Oromna down our throats .. we will turnout enmass and vote for third parties and write in Dr. Paul. Republicans are doomed to lose simply by ignoring their Libertarian base. It's obvious that at least a quarter of Republicans are sick of the Neocon agenda and the Reaganomics, of the Evangelicals getting all the spotlight.

Except OWS was organized by dumbasses and the people represented were morons. They chose to squat in a park and represent everything we hate about society.

The only thing I've seen under Obama is higher taxes for working folks like me, a depreciating dollar, equity devastated, and poverty soaring. We tried the Liberal way of putting everyone on Foodstamps and it isn't working.. let's try something else.

The problem that arises is not so much that he's done more harm than good, but that we may not have a better choice. If Romney receives the nomination (who actually supports this liar and thief? Anyone?), which people are saying he most likely will if he wins South Carolina, then we're not going to have much of an alternative to Obama. I think I'd vote for Obama just because I think Mitt would do even more harm; look at his record, he's trampled on so many Americans just to make a profit; are we supposed to believe that he actually wants to represent us now?

Not to mention, Mitt has no chance against Obama. He has a really despicable past and when the Democrats start bringing this to light, he will lose so many supporters.

If Paul doesn't get the nomination we're screwed, and Obama will most likely win.

The simple fact is this. Obama is a traitor.
The birth certificate issue comes into play only when you realize he cares nothing for the American people. He only seeks to increase the power of the presidency...power to subvert the resources of the U.S. for foreign interests.

Since the minute Obama has taken the office of Commander and Chief of this Nation, he has acted like an out of control kid in the candy store. His whole presidency is like one big trip to Disney Land to him.

Take take take for him, and his inner circle of buddies, is all I've seen him do. He treats his own administration like mushrooms. Keeps them in the dark and feeds them shlt.

He is focused on one thing, and one thing only....not loosing his E ticket ride.

This is true. The only government that has worked is the shadow government. The elite families and secret societies and not so secret societies (CFR, Trilaterals, Bilderbergers, etc.) that have been pulling the strings for centuries.
No government will be allowed to work when these psychopaths don't want it to. A republic is clearly the best, outside of a truly benevolent dictatorship, but they are fleeting as well. Humans are too corruptible.
