I got tired of building so now I just register a domain, and forward it to an online builder.

www.wix.com... is incredibly versatile, easy to use and they have some great templates to use. e-commerce, email, flash and many other gadgets.

I suggest giving it a go before anything else.

It's also free!

Peace

One of the simplest ways to build a nice one is wordpress in my opinion, It depends what kind of features you need of course.

wordpress

You say it's for a business, do you want to actually sell things online? or just have a web presence

P.S. You don't really need Dreamweaver, I just prefer it. Joomla has its own editor built into it.

I use notepad and hard code everything, but for a beginner it's probably best using a platform such as Wordpress.

The back-end is awesome and has brilliant plug-ins.

If you're after building the websites yourself, Dreamweaver is a good place to start.

If you need any help with anything, inbox me.

If your going to be selling things then your going to need a "shopping cart" plug in for wordpress or you could just build the whole site on something line zen cart, a free shopping cart you can see some examples of sites built with zen cart here
Your also going to need something called a payment gateway, which is a way to process credit card orders and things.
